Good novel, anime, live action TV show or movie, cartoons, and comicbooks. What all of these different medium have in common? keep in mind all the different genres, like slice of life, action, fantasy, drama, period time, family stories, romance, scifi, and other stuff. Also keep in mind all the different types of storytelling. what all of these have in common? Is there even an answer to such question? Is it wrong question and that i don't really understand what i am asking?

Mmmhhhh interesting question. I think that all good stories have something uniquely human in them. All good stories are art that we see ourselves in and that authors put themselves into. Hence why in a way all stories that an author puts a bit of their heart into is a good story. In a way at some level I guess we all see each other in our favorite stories even if it's not obvious. I'm not a telekinetic space wizard with a laser sword yet there's something about Star Wars that just makes me love it. Or perhaps it's ones that also make us think like Avatar: The Last Airbender which in a way helped me shape my world view (not because I was a kid when I watched it, I actually didn't watch it until high school) perhaps (and I believe it is) it's a mix of both.
