If you plan on getting the First Edition Talon of Horus, get that.
The Grey Knights omnibus will be available for a little while longer lol

Haven't read it yet, but ADB said that it isn't "Important" so much as it gives hints at what comes after and is a little bonus for the people who got the FE.

for those interested the following will contain spoilers
SPoilers begin
So its turns out aside from stealing the talon of horus abaddon also took the remains of Sanguinus sword.
Abby gives the his three new friends a chunk each to do what they want with.
Telemachon builds a new mask.
lheor retooths his chainaxe.
Khayon takes his piece along with someother stuff to a thousand son weaponsmith, he gets a sword and recruits the weaponsmith.
so whilst not vital it does have one very interesting reveal regarding a blood angels relic.

A.D.B. blow your mind from the beginning till the end. The next to come will be awesome.

Can't help but to bring this up, I just started the book and I love ADB's work but what irritated me about this book was during the scene of the meeting on Board the "His favored son": The Word Bearer was in shackles, mag-locked on his wrists, behind his back, and yet when asked why he used the Corpse to speak he touched his throat with the fingertips of a red gauntlet, saying a blood angel cut his throat leaving him speechless, then in a few pages again it was said he wears his restraints and again asked about his speech and again used his hands to point at his throat.
Like how? If the hands are mag-locked behind his back? It is a huge deal breaker when Authors stop giving a damn what they wrote a page before, I've already witnessed stuff like "He watched his enemy through his eyelenses while the wind brushed through his hair" from other authors. ADB is better than this, and Hell, he wrote this book for a year if I'm correct, never bothered to read it to check for mistakes like that?
I have reread the scene to make sure I didn't miss a vital moment, nope, I didn't, anyway, that one really got to me, I hope there won't be any more hiccups.
Read further, turns out the book is full of such writing errors, quite a let-down, I found another four so far, I hope in the next Books ADB will give more of a fuck about what he writes.
(Update)
Done with the book now, I regret reading it, It is so full of obvious bullshit, this is a joke, ADB did not give a single fuck about what he wrote a page before, what happened to logic? He is literally pulling shit out of his ass the entire length of the book, and thinks people aren't going to notice? What a way to treat readers. What happened? Is he going to fuck up the whole series now? excellent skills but zero commitment, man I hope he's not going to fuck up the whole Black Legion series.
Here is what Im talking about, for refference:
1 Ive already mentioned the word bearer and his neck.
Update about 2 and 3: I didn't read "Rebirth", but still, The wolves destroyed Prosperro leaving its surface as glass, as I was told, so still makes no sense.
2 Khayon was found by the world Eater on Prospero, first Khayon recalls he ran, then walked, then crawled, then gave in to his wounds and passed out, later The World Eater says he found him on a heap of wolves (space wolves i guess), what heap? did he crawl onto a heap to pass out?
3 The World eaters just dropped by to check on Prospero? When? not when the wolves were still there, obviously, but how could the world eaters have come in time to Save Khayon? Warp travel takes Months, years even, right? No one had even time to clean the battlefield, How was the World eater in time on Prosperro to save Khayon? Why was he even there? Why did the World Eaters care at all?
4 When Khayon and Nefertari with Lheor went Deamon hunting on The Tlaloc, they found a Deamon the size of a Land Raider, and then Nefertari cut the Deamon in half with one strike with her crystal claws? Bullshit.
5 When they emerge out of the Warp into a System Covered by the light of the Astronomicon, Khayon Orders The Oculus to shut, then, when the Serpent attacks, There is a scene which describes how the flesh of the serpent was visible through the Oculus, how? If it was closed only moments before. and then Asur Khai is described as having tears on his face from before the Oculus was closed, so they didn't reopen it, again, Bullshit.
6 The mutants on the bridge Saw The Solar Priest as a light that was full of Screams, because they had no psychic potential, but Telemachon, and Lheor seemed to see and hear him quite well, and if I remember correctly Nefertari too.
None of them are Psycers.
7 Nefertari was described by Khayon as someone deaf to the psychic senses, so she can't hear deamons, same as Lheor with the Raged Knight, but She was talking with Gyre about killing Asur-Khai.
8 Here's one of my Favourites, Lheor Cuts a big hole in the Hull Of The Vengeful Spirit, with a Fucken Chain Axe.
9 How the Hell did Abbadon, being all Alone manage to get the Three Headed Serpent thing into the Vengeful Spirit? From another planet, in another system. Its Teeth were the size of Dreadnoughts, and it could Swallow a Land Raider without Chewing. Big huh? So HOW???
10 How did Abbadon Travel the Eye? All Alone? On What Ship? again, All Alone? Fucken HOW? Bullshit.
11 First The Anamnesis Describes Khayons Sisters presence within it as The Dominant Percentage, and then it turns out she was half brain dead, Dominant Percentage?
12 Abbadon keeps his Floating-Tank-Parts-Astropaths among his junk, where Lheor can admire them. Astropaths Arent Servitors far as I know.
13 Khayon said to the Inquisitors at the Begining of the Book that they "Persuaded" Abbadon to lead them, Then It turns out that Nope, Abbadon Persuaded them.
13 Sardon took his wounds In the Terran War, which was a long time ago right? And He looks 20, like a recruit? Even if he was recruited the same day the siege of Terra Began, still makes no sense.
14 When Khayon fought the Wolves on Prospero, one of his spells, "aged a Spacewolf a thousand years" Turning his bones into slime or something. In the Eye it was said, for some Astartes 50 yeares passed since the Heresy, for some 50 Thousand Years, even if that wasn't the case, 1000 years will not turn a Spacemarine into slime, much less his bones.
15 Another Favourite, Lheor explains to Khayon what an Apple is, Khayon who knows the History of Earth since there were Knights, but a World Eater explains to him What a fucken Apple is.
16 Abbadon claims he didn't walk the first time in Khayons thoughts, when or after he was in his Memories on Prospero.
How? I don't know how many systems away, and how? I thought Astropathy was a very difficult art and nothing ever comes through as it was sent, so HOW did Abbadon walk his Mind before they met? That's what I mean by ADB Pulling Shit out of his ass, and more.
17 The Justaerin have runes etched into their teeth? Bullshit. Like how? and why? not to mention it would most likely regenerate or be eaten away by acid saliva, Couldn't think of a more believable Fetish?
18 Lheors Plasma Cannon got hit by "Bolter" shells a hundred times and more? Bullshit. Even it that was on all the battles he fought altogether.
19 Telemachon desides to stay on the Vengefull spirit and not go with Khayon? why? he feels nothing while far from him.
20.Telemachon feels only near Khayon, but is described as not feeling, because his brain misfires near the Anamnesis when there with Khayon.
21 Justaerin Terminator was connected to Deck Plate by cobweb, when Abbadon and Khayon found him, and then he just moves along, no mention of his connection to the deck.
22 The Justaerin are Posessed? Is this Codex Approved?
23 Khayon Threw the Tlalock at the Emperors Children City, and dragged it along with the Vengefull spirit through the warp for months? Bullshit, 40k Ships are immense, like cities, Bullshit, there is no way he could have done this, unless he is the Emperror, and even then, I remember Magnus fighting some Alien Titan with his powers back in "A Thousand Sons" and that was a feat. Oh and he kept the Tlaloc cloaked while he was at it.
24 Also, The Tlaloc almost 2 km in lenght? It sounded a LOT more spacious when it was described when they were all aboard the Tlaloc, just the elevator leading towards Nefertaris hideout had thousands of access shafts riddling it, and the Tlaloc housed Mutant Clans, and what not, and the walk from Khayons Cabin to the Anamnesis took hours If I remember correctly. Author doesn"t know what Kilometers are?
Were talking about a 40k ship right?
25 Khayon psychically throws the Tlaloc at Harmony? Im sure Superman would have some Trouble doing that, if not a whole lot of it.
A 2 km ship crashed on Harmony and destroyed its surface?
Everyone died like the dinosaurs? Bullshit.
When the Lex crashed in "The Betrayer" there was just a wave.
That way anyone could destroy any planet, with one relatively small ship.
26 Lorgar in a tank. Need I say More? They stole Horuses body. Oh and Fulgrim was there too. For fucks sake ADB what are you writing?
27 Perfect Horus Clone? Fully grown? Right, who needs the Emperor to make a Primarch? So why bother with Lorgar and Fulgrim?
28 The Battle with the Horus clone, riddled with bullshit where I'd have to comment every line, here's some, why didn't Abbadon Act sooner? Horuses flesh tore from his body from Shells before his Kinetick shield gave up its steam. "Abbadon, My Brother"? What???
29 One By one The Primarchs bowed to Abbadon? What The Fuck?
Are you the same guy who Invented Draigo? Or did he steal your Book before release date and rewrote it?
30 Abbadons Meeting With Sigismund, Again, WHAT THE FUCK???
Abbadon bowed to Sigismund, and Sigismun...och fuck you ADB,
Do they both Know 40k is a fucken board game??? Do you have anything left for Realism????
31 Now, there was one of the World Eaters I think that had constant radiation poisoning, again, aren't Space marines immune to it? Or how come it didn't at least heal?
32 The Albino Ashur Khai was sick, as a kid, I thought they only recruit the strong into Space Marines, also, Becoming an Astartes did not heal him? More Bullshit.
Acknowledgements:
"Thank you to my test readers"? What? At this point I feel it is impossible you had any.
Thank you Ghram Mcneil ect for patiance with my e-mails "But what about" about what???
"I Swear, my mountain of research material would chocke the Ruinous Powers themselves" Liar. Plain and simple.
"Thanks Rik Cooper ect for editorial duty" Yeah right, I wish there was any.
What the fuck happened to ADB at this point? His writing was never so bad, this isn't just bad, Its a fucken joke.
One that people PAY for. 40k fans care about 40k fluf. Does he really expect people to swallow this? Does he care about his reputation? I don't know.

This bit really left me confused.
The world-eaters do turn up on prospero looking for some means of controlling the butchers nails (as per the short story rebirth). However Scars states that after the wolves leave they pretty much glass the planet, causing the core to begin to collapse and releasing hordes of those Psi parasite things.
During all this Khayon is under a dead wolf......

Its makes even less sense when you consider the world eaters are sent to prospero with a kill order for the thousand sons since horus doesn't trust them.
My memory me be a little of but doesnt betrayer pretty much tell us the world eaters have an almost genetic hatred for anything remotely warp touched.

As per rebirth the thousand sons were still considered loyal. The world eaters were given the job of waiting for the thousand sons fleet elements that had been sent away by magnus. If the didnt declare for horus then they were to wipe them out. It worth noting that in the HH series the thousand sons have still not turned against the imperium.
The story really doesnt state how many but its atleast kharn and his company.
The wolves had already been recalled so were nolonger on prospero.
The world eaters take the job mostly as an excuse to try and find out how magnus stopped the genetic collapsed of his legion and try and use it to save Angron who is being killed by the butchers nails.
Really the story covers all your questions..u should read it.
"26 Lorgar in a tank. Need I say More? They stole Horuses body. Oh and Fulgrim was there too. For fucks sake ADB what are you writing?"
Covered in the death and defiance anthology. Fabius started the cloning process years ago.
MAJOR SPOILERS
LAST CHANCE !!!
OKAY ?
Imperfect ---- Fabius has a whole bunch of clones including ferrus manus. Hes had Fulgrims DNA sample for ages, hes being culling samples from the mass graves of drop site massacre. The Horus clone was already alive before the true horus was even killed........so I guess why bother stealing the corpse ?

"
According to real fluff, obviously we know they needed the Body of Horus to "try" clone Horus, so Abbadon should have been facing grotesque but strong failures with a grotesque resemblance to the real Horus.
This part right here: "The Horus clone was already alive before the true horus was even killed"Is an example of a Writer not giving a fuck about what he writes, ie "its my book so fuck all of you" except, Its your book based on a Universe that wasn't established by you yet somehow you feel like it's yours to Shit on. This is like the Draigo fluff, only worse, Draigo is ridiculous, but this is an absolute "Logic-Killer", Stuff like Draigo and the Doom Rider is just stuff that I have to accept as "Never happened" Oh and by the way,
-"Care for Refreshments?" Ezykile Abbadon.
That is totally fucking up established, good, Character design, replacing it with your own garbage.
So Here's how I think ADB is going to write the encounter of Abbadon and The Emperror.
Only two people were in the vast Room, The Sigilite, and...and...The Emperror, but not a dying Corpse on a throne, The Emperror was whole and standing there in his majesty.
-Horus, Is that you my brother?
Abbadon was as still as a statue, trembling with rage, the targeting systems of his helm couldn't quite lock onto the Emperor, he released the topknot on his head because of the significance of the moment, and opened fire.
The combi-Bolter on his Taloned hand spat two hundred bolts a second, but the scheer force wasn't enough to penetrate The Emperrors Kinetic barrier.
It took Abbadon no more than 30 seconds to realize his Autocannon was Ammo starved and he laid it aside with the care of a Scholar flipping the page of a book, Runes of Cthonian Poetry etched into the insides of his fingernails.
The Emperror launched himself at Abbadon, all brilliant light and all.
Abbadon quickly picked up his fallen Bolter with the servo arm attached ho his schin and roared as he unleashed the fury of his ancient weapon.
Khayon paused with a smile, his captors tense,
-Continue, Heretic, they spoke in unison.
-You would like me to tell you how it all played out would you? Well, all I can tell you is that none of us expected the Tau.
Acknowledgements: I would like to thank myself for the mountains of research and buckets of sweat It took me to write this abstract, I try to keep my work as close to codex as possible, and it didn't take me 5 minutes to come up with all of this.

"
According to real fluff, obviously we know they needed the Body of Ho..."
That ending works
but needs more Khayon throwing city size spacecraft at people.
Though there is always a bit of a delay getting it to amazon and whatnot
I for one will be getting it. I love Chaos, I love Abaddon, and I love ADB. Really no reason for me not to lol
