History: Dakota has always been shy, but the main cause if that is when she was about 10 a man came into her house and tried to kill her, that left her scared and feel like she couldn't just anyone, now she is always careful and usually stays in her room if not out in the woods.

Dakota was sitting on her bed looking out at the woods, she stretched and got up. It was a Saturday, the sun was out and and it was blinding her, she looked away then went over to her closet. She grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top that was Love in fancy letters, as she changed her hummed to the song Rather Be by Clean Bandit that she had stuck in her head. When she was all dressed she put on a black sweatshirt and headed downstairs. "Mom, I'm going to go out for al-" she started quietly, then her sister Ashley came down and sneered at her. Dakota looked down and walked out. When she was far enough from the house she ran into the woods and sat on a log deep in the woods.

((Oh I didn't see the night part, derp. It can be sunset ish? And sure!))

Dakota heard something, a stuck snapping, "Who's there?" She asked looking around in fear. She stood up and went towards the sound. Then a huge bear came out, Dakota backed up, the bear came forward. Then she hit the log and fell backwards, the bear slashed at her and she screamed.

Dakota pushed the bear and tried to run, the bear followed, she ran around trees and rocks, she couldn't lose it.

Finally Dakota just stood there waiting, she moved to the safe when the bear was right infront of her. Before she could move again the bear scratched her back, she screamed in pain.

Dakota's eyes went wide, she slowly walked backwards from him, unable to speak.

Dakota stared at him more, she finally came to her senses, "I-I'm D-Dakota..." She said quietly, she sat down on a rock, her legs becoming weak.

Dakota looked down at the her hands, all she wanted was a normal life where bear attacks or being bullied didn't happen! She groaned accidentally, she covered her mouth, "S-sorry.."

Dakota looked up at him, "My b-back.." Then said another part under her breath "Unless your a blind idiot who can't see where a giant hole is in my shirt..."

Dakota hesitated, she looked at the blood, "O-okay..." She took licked the blood, she scrunched her nose at the taste of it but licked the blood again. "A-all of it?" She said looking up at him.

Dakota frowned, "O-okay.." She kept licking the blood, She felt herself healing little by little.

((Sorry I left, I fell asleep!))

Dakota looked around, she tried to stand up but came crashing down into Kol, "S-sorr-" then she passed out.

Dakota suddenly woke up, breathing heavily. She looked around wildly, when she saw Kol she started to cry. "It's real..." She kept saying over and over.

Dakota stared at him eyes wide, "A-are...b-but...I w-want to g-go home..."

Dakota frowned, "With my life that's going to be hard..." She muttered under her breath.

Dakota looked at him, "You won't like what people do to me..." She whispered still.

Dakota looked down, "They bully me...alot...." She started to cry again.

Dakota looked up at him, "Im sorry for your lost...I would tell you everything, it's just too painful..."

Dakota kept staring at him, "You can see my memories?" She backed away alittle, "That's...scary..."

She looked into his eyes carefully, "My sister..she hates me, she gets everyone at my school to hate and bully me...t-they have me scars on my stomach and arms..."

"When I was about 12 a guy came into my house while I was sleeping...I was home alone, the guy came into my room...he tried to kill me," she lifted up her shirt a little, on her stomach there was a scar where a knife hit her, around that scar there were smaller ones.

Dakota stared at him again, saying nothing else, she pulled down her shirt and just stared.

Dakota nodded weakly before collapsing into him. "I'm weak..."

Dakota nodded, she curled up and watch the world fade away.

~|Time Skip for 45 mins|~

Dakota woke up and stretched, she sat up and looked at Kol, he was watching her. "Do you enjoy watching me sleep?" She asked quietly.

Dakota smiled faintly, "T-thanks...I guess..." She then made a straight face again, "When can I go home..?"

Dakota laughed, "And my sister would freak out that there's a hot guy in my house," she later back down and sighed.

Dakota nodded, "Brings home a new boy everyday, it's disgusting...sometimes they hit on me..."

Dakota stared at him, "S-stay h-here? With you...You barely know me.."

She nodded, "Okay..ill stay..on one condition. I want to get my things from my house. All my clothes, stuffed animals, and books. Deal?"

Dakota smiled at him, she stood up and dusted her pants off. She looked at her clothes, "Do you have anything I could wear without...holes in it?"

Dakota thanked him and waited for him to give her the new clothes.

Dakota smiled, "Thanks, can you..er..go away so I can change?"

Dakota watched as he left, when he was completely gone she sighed. Why does my life have to be so complicated! Dakota quickly stripped out of her clothes and put on new ones. She looked in the mirror, her face had a few scratches and her hair was everywhere, she looked terrible. She went out the door, "Kol, do you mind if I take a shower? I look like a train ran over me 200 times."

Dakota nodded then turned to go into the bathroom, then she turned back, "Why do you keep calling me darling?"

Dakota nodded, "Okay, cya!" She spinned her heel and went into the bathroom.

After Dakota took her shower and dried her hair she put it in a towel and a towel over her body she walked out, she went into the the bedroom and stared at Kol, "Hey.."

Dakota blushed, "S-sorry...just a h-habit..."

"It's okay..ill go.." Dakota said, then she raced out the door and to the bathroom. She quickly got dressed then went back into the room. "There..." She went over to sit down next to him.

Dakota's eyes went wide, "N-no I'm n-not..."

Dakota blinked, "B-but...everyone at school....I don't believe you."

"Out of everything that's happened...that's the most weirdest thing..." Dakota mummered quietly.

"Saying that I'm beautiful...if it was my sister she would be laughing and saying 'You just noticed that!'" She said faking a falsetto voice.

Dakota smiled slightly, she stood up and hugged him, "Thanks..•

Dakota blushed again, "I should probably go to bed soon...where will I be sleeping?"
