Claire’s brother, Danny, suffered from PTSD and pain from injuries while deployed in Afghanistan. Did you anticipate his suicide? Was there something that happened to him that he took with him to the grave?

I guess it didn't surprise me, but I have no idea what actually brought him to that point at that time.

No, I didn't see it coming. I, optimistically, thought he would find a way through it all. I've got no idea what the trigger was.

I didn't see it coming. I actually thought that Kaylea's foundation would end up helping Danny.

I thought the suicide was a rushed wrap up of that storyline and a cheap way for Gage to show his devotion etc. I agree with Karen about thinking that he would get help through the foundation. I think that would have been an interesting storyline.

Agree, Laura, the foundation helping him would have been an excellent plot storyline.

It took me by surprise. I know he was in a terrible place but I thought Hunter’s offer of help was going to be a possible solution. It was mentioned that he was keeping some kind of secret, which I thought my be later revealed. Maybe I read too much into that.

I missed the secret reference. Hummm, interesting. Wonder why that wasn't resolved?

It was when she was visiting him and Claire was thinking it was obvious he was holding some secret back.

I didn't catch the secret part. What bothered me the most about Danny was when it was brought up he was denied a service dog. At that point why was he alone? Psych facility or something? Or Claire and his dad should have just bought him a dog.

Some secret, denial of a service dog. Sounds like someone may have been manipulating Danny's situation. The plot thickens.
