#2 It was very funny! The more Darcy wanted to consummate his marriage, the more he and Elizabeth found obstacles on their way!

Glad you enjoyed that one, Georgiana! I found the gag dragged on too long without enough plot otherwise to keep me interested. Lory Lilian is an excellent writer, though.

My sojourn into Emma fan fiction was a pleasure as I was able to see how others expanded the original. Most appeared to be sequels after Emma becomes Mrs. Knightly. What I was hoping to sink my teeth into was a true variation. I've yet to find one. Therefore, I'm back to Darcy and Elizabeth. Yay! And I am on to the next level.

Yay for how much you enjoyed these three. Yes, there are sequels, prequels or different character POVs a plenty, but I've not seen any variations, either. I don't think NA has any, either. Now you have me curious to go looking about.

Gosh, look at you folks scooting along through Marianne's library already! Well done for getting past ten so soon.

You're such a Wickham, Kirk you naughty boy! Abandoning Marianne like this!! At least you left her with some five-star memories.

Thought that might get your goat! But really, running through Marianne in a couple of days is pretty callous. Perhaps you should petition our lovely mod to designate Marianne for a higher reading level in future years so you can offer her a modicum of constancy.

Well-conceived, well-written short story (2 chapters). Elizabeth and the Gardiners travel from Lambton to tour Pemberley, and this is the FIRST time Elizabeth and Darcy meet - no prior meeting at Netherfield, and no prior meeting at Rosings. Elizabeth DOES know Mr. Wickham, however, and her initial impression of Darcy is not a positive one.
