hmmmm ... Must give a thought to this and report back with a title. Definitely a good direction to take - thanks for the intrigue ;)
Jane and Georgiana are minor characters, right? Lol...for this one I might gave someone a reading whirl...

For most people! :) For me, major characters. :) :)
I've discovered that I have both Kindle and Audible copies of Caroline Bingley: A Continuation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Jennifer Becton, so I'll probably run them in parallel in March. I quite like a tale where Caroline is redeeemed, at least somewhat, so I'm looking forward to this one.
We'll be reading twinsies, Anji. :)
Neat that you'll be able to go back and forth between print and audio.

So we will, Sophia. Hadn't realised you'd already thought of that one!
The book that has been on my TBR the longest actually fits the clue. That just works out nicely for me. I will be reading:
I'm going to join Sophia and Anji - I've been meaning to read Caroline Bingley for a long time, and I already own it. Quasi-group read!
I think I'm gonna give Assumed Obligation by Kara Louise a second go. I'd started it back in November after reading the first book, Assumed Engagement, but couldn't get through the first couple chapters for reasons I can't remember, so I stopped and put it back on my to-read pile.It has ODC in it, but it's also about Georgiana... or so I'm led to believe.

OK -- I want to playHer Father's Choice: A Pride and Prejudice Novella
I read the first of Leenie Brown's Choices series but never finished the series … so
No Other Choice: A Pride and Prejudice Novella -- Mary Bennet
His Inconvenient Choice: A Pride and Prejudice Novella -- Kitty Bennet
Her Heart's Choice: A Pride and Prejudice Novella -- Anne de Bourgh
Sure thing, Abigail!
I'll have to check that one out since its new to me.
EDIT: Holy Cow! No wonder you said tentative. That one's a doorstopper with all those pages. :)

Sophia will post up a Scavenger Clue (theme) from those submitted by the members and that will determine what you choose to pull off your shelf (or the local library's shelf) to read.
This will be a difficult (but not too difficult) challenge in that your book has to meet two qualifications.
1. It has to match the Scavenger Clue Theme.
2. It has to have been published over 2 years ago.
That's right! We're aiming at those oldies, but goodies that have been left behind to gather dust for the bright and shiny newer releases.
Any format may be admissible.
Your Clue: A minor Austen character Gets to Shine
I'm defining this one to mean any character from Austen's novels, unfinished, juvenilia, or her own family (including books about her family) who receive a large portion of your chosen book's focus.
And yes, you know me, my response when you're not sure is go with your gut if your book qualifies. This is meant for fun and to get books dusted off your shelf so I'm good with wide interpretations of the rules. LOL
If you're game, leave a comment with your choice by March 1st and then begin reading after the 1st.
As you read or when you complete your read, stop back by and update everyone.
If you run into something in your book that you want to discuss or ask about, sure thing, leave a comment so we can hash it out with you.
