The Bystanders book series is Earth based, so the galaxy comes here, instead of us going around the galaxy. I hope the military sci-fi and superhero aspects have enough crossover allure to space opera fans. Just ask yourself what a war would be like if one side fights for life, family, and home; and the other side treats it as adults in a pickup game of football with first graders.
