So how should it start?

Maybe my guy is part of an expidition from a far away civilization and ...

Ulrich had been sent by the Emperor of the Empire of the Holy Reich. His job was to investigate the emergence of a strange island off the coast Of Glassfeild. He was supposed to contact who ever lived on the island and determine if they were friend or foe. His team had made land fall 3 days ago. One by one his team perished from different dangers until only he remained. Now he has made contact with a strange people, possibly the reason for this Island appearing.

Ulich:

Ulrich was walking up the path his greatsword on his back when he spotted someone standing in a strange cloak. "Hey you there, do you speak common?" He asks as he waves. "Oh who am I kidding, of course you don't." He mumbles to himself as he gets within view of the creature. It seemed to be guarding some sort of gate.

Ulirch was brought back, how did she know his language? There was obviously some magic a foot. "Sacred to whom?" Asks Ulrich as he looked around. He knew a few magic spells but did not want trouble.

"And who live in this land?" He asked. Why must gate keepers always speak in riddles.

"I am Ulrich, I am an explorer. I have been sent here to make contact with which ever strange people live here. I Hale from the lands known as the Empire of the Holy Reich. You know my name, May I ask you for yours?"

"The others? What happened to the others"

"What is the price and who judges?"

Ulrich found her giggle to be rather cute. He thought it helped lighten the situation."Yeah I'd definitely like to meet the king and queen." He mutters to himself. "I assume I can find such things in the village down there?" He says pointing to the village.

"Thanks for the warning Tesla." He says with a smile. He turned to move down to the village, after a few steps he stopped and looked over his shoulder at Tesla. "Tesla, you seem friendly enough so far. do you think you could guide me through their traps?" He asks, hoping she will join him.

Ulrich waited until Tesla was besides him before walking down to the village with her. "Are you from the village or beyond the gate?" He asks trying to make small talk.

Ulich stopped and gasped at the trap. "Thanks for that Tesla." He says before they make their way around the trap. "What other traps can we expect?" He asks

"A maze? you can't be serous. How do the villagers go to the gates then? surely there is a way around all of this?" He says as he makes his way around the trap and follows Tesla further down the path.

"Ok, let's take the shortcut then. Where is it?" Says Ulrich, relieved that he would not have to go through the maze.

Ulrich grips onto the rope as tightly as he can. "Now what?" He asks curious where she was going with this.

Ulich Watched as Tesla jumped onto the tall walls with a single leap. He then felt himself being launched into the sky. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh" He landed in a large pile of mattresses. He sat up and was rubbing his head trying to make sense of what had just happened, It was something out of a dream.

Ulrich saw her laughing. "Something tells me that wasn't the shortcut." He says as he stands up and looks around to see where he was.

"Fun for you perhaps" He says as he stretches making sure everything was still there. He then saw the children when they saw Tesla. He Was curious what she might do.

Ulrich laughed at the scene in front of him. "I take it that you are popular here?" He says Watching Tesla run around with the children.

"Yeah, I'm here to visit. Tesla is showing me around." Says Ulrich as he kneels down to the kid

Uleich followed Tesla and the children to the village, silently observing everything he could. He liked how Tesla treated the children and was happy that they were so welcoming of him.

Ulrich silently observed. He wondered who this red head girl was and what presents Tesla will give.

Ulrich chuckled to himself. He was in the world of politics. To him a gift meant a large sum of gold, a new race horse or even a daughter to marry. He had forgotten what it had been like to be a child and for the whole world to be a gift.

Ulrich laughed to himself from the children's little meeting.

Ulich sort of perked up, curious what the gem and earing might do.

Ulrich was amazed, had that earing just given him Ice powers? He was curious what other gifts Tesla had.

Ulrich was intrigued at where she was producing all of this jewelry from.

Ulrich followed, his hands gripping his sword, fearing that there may be trouble. "What is it Tesla"

Ulrich followed her and when he heard her words, he took his hands off his sword.

Ulrich nodded and stopped following her. He made his way back to what looked like an inn. He entered the inn and asked the inn keep for a room.

Ulrich took the key and noticed the boy playing around in the inn. Ulrich went over to the little boy. "Hey little boy what is your name?"

"I am." Nods Ulrich as he kneels down by Tamur. "That is an interesting earring you have. What does it do?"

"Interesting, Is there any more items like this that can let you play with Ice? Or is this the only one?"

"Why aren't you allowed to talk about them" Says Ulrich furrowing his brow.

"Why don't they like her Tamur?" Whispers Urlich, his curiosity peaked.

"Where is linsey?" Asks Ulrich as the boy leaves him.

Ulrich nods and leaves the Inn, he wanders around the town until he finds who he assumes to be Linsey by the well. "Linsey?"

"Hello Linsey, I'm Ulrich. I'd like to ask you some questions if you would allow it?" He says as he kneels down next to her.

"Why do the adults here dislike Tesla?"

"Why do they think she is a demon?" He asks curiously

"Interesting, thanks Linsey." He says as he stands up goes back to the inn. He enters the inn and unlocks the room he will be staying in.

Ulrich goes into his room and locks the door behind him. He stretches and starts to take off his sword.

Ulrich decides to go to bed for the night

Ulrich yawns as he sits up in bed. He puts his sword back on him, gathers his things and leaves the room. He walks up to the counter at the in hoping to buy the things he needed for his offerings

Ulrich obtains the offerings and left the inn. He uses the shortcut to go past the maze. He makes his way up to the gates.

Ulrich walked up to the gate and saw Tesla leaning against the gate. "Hey Tesla I got the offerings." He says as he approaches her
