Jane and Barry Frost end up in a very dangerous confrontation with Jimmy and Carrie and have no backup. Did she really have a choice or was she foolhardy for not waiting?

They should have waited for backup, but that isn't Jane's way. She sees an opportunity and jumps on it.

I thought it was crazy not to wait but I think it weighed on her that they’d failed Josephine once and she didn’t want to do that again. Poor Frost almost died.
