Where the students can come to eat during lunch or dinner, breakfast is of course served here as well.

Xander got in line. He let go of Shin's hand and looked at the menu.

Shin looked at the menu as well,

Xander ordered sesame ramen. He went ahead and paid for his meal. He waited for Shin. "You look beautiful today Shin."

Shin blushed and ordered some miso ramen and paid for her meal and walked over to him

"I saved us a table." He sat at a window booth that had a view overlooking the campus. He took a sip of his chai tea. "How'd you like your first arena fight for the year?"

Shin grins, " it was fun but kind of distracting seeing i haven't done it for so long"

"You'll get the hang of it." He smiled at her. "You can team up with me anytime love." He gave a quick wink.

A dark blush coved Shin's cheeks, " If your cool with then yeah"

" I don't mind at all love." He sipped his tea. "I'm honestly wondering who my roommate would be."

" Same" she looked out the window, then at a scar that went across her shoulder to her wrist

"You alright Shin?" He said concerned. "You look worried about something."

" it's nothing" she smiled weakly, she ate some more of her food

"I know the look of someone with a terrible thought on their mind. Trust me I've been there." He held her free hand gently. "I'm here for you remember?"

Shin exhaled, " you see this scar, i got it from this IS accident i was in two years ago"

"Trust me, I know a thing or two about IS accidents." He rolled up his sleeve and removed his glove on his right arm. It was entirely robotic. "Lost my arm test piloting the prototype of my current IS."

Shin took hold of it gently, and ran her gaze down it, then let his arm go, " That's advance tech, like i haven't seen that in years"

"It's amazing yes, but it honestly annoys me when I'm walking the streets with adults and kids laughing and pointing at me like I'm a sideshow act." He held her hand a tad firm at that mention.

" just snap at them' she burst into a shower of giggles at what she said

"It's not easy to do that when the only friend I have on the streets is myself. I'm only safe within the confines of the base. The people hate me because I wasn't supposed to be Ireland's Representative, my brother was their choice, out of every pilot, I wasn't even on the list of candidates." His eyes teared up a bit. His life was rough before it even began.

Shin took his hands in her's, " well i'm here for you, like your for me" she gives him a toothy grin

"I appreciate that." He winked at her.

Shin blushed lightly at the wink and went back to her food, she pulled out a Naruto manga

Xander smiled. "You're a fan of anime?" He said surprised. "Me to."

Shin blushed shyly, " Yeah, i've been into it for years, plus i'm glad i found another Otaku"

"Same here." He said kindly. "Honestly I find girls with similar interests rather cute."

Shin blushed darkly, " Same here"

"Maybe you'd like to go on a date sometime?" He asked politely. He then leaned in a kissed her cheek.

Shin blushed darkly, " I'd like to", putting her hand to her cheek where he had kissed her

"I'll look forward to it." He said in a velvet tone.

shin's ears turned red, and she shyly looked out the window

"Sorry if I embarrassed you. You're actually the first person I've asked out ever." He rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment.

" And your'e the first person to ask me out" Shin smiled sweetly at him

"Then the effort was well worth it." He leaned in to kiss her when Ciara manifested and sent a shock through his ring. "Down boy."

Shin jumped slightly when Ciara appeared, her face turned bright red

Ciara smiled. "I know you like him, you'll regret it if you don't tell him now rather than later." Xander was too distracted about checking his finger for an electrical burn.

Shin looked anywhere else then Ciara, her face dark red

Ciara vanished and the ring stopped glowing. Xander sighed. "She's offline until she wants to yell at me some more. Sorry about Ciara, she's a little protective of me since we're partners."

Shin grinned, " It's fine, my brother was like that with me when boys ever thought of coming near me"

"Well I'm not like those boys." He held her hand gently. He leaned in and kissed her lips softly.

Shin's eyes widened slightly, a dark blush covering her cheeks, then she kissed back shyly

"I'm glad we were able to meet eachother. You're actually the first person who hasn't tried to kill me." He rubbed his neck in worry. It wasn't easy being Ireland's representative.

" Why i try to kill you, Your just to cute for me to do that"

Xander smiled at the remark. "You're probably the first person to ever say that to me." He said kindly.

Shin smiles, " It's true, your just too cute" she planted a sweet kiss on his cheek

Xander chuckled and sat Shin on his lap. "Could say the same for you."
