Sooo. My psychiatrist is looking into medication for ADHD for me because I have attention issues

They've come so far with medication now. My oldest son has severe ADHD. He has a very, very difficult time sleeping. So much so that he often ends up riding his bike 12 or 15 miles before bed just so he can get some sleep. His teachers were very, very accommodating. Hopefully your doctor will find a medicine that is a good fit and your teachers will help. It sounds like your parents are already pretty supportive.

Good luck. Just remember that it often takes a long time to find, not only the right medication, but the right dosage. It's worth it, though.

Thanks! Yeah, I gave my teachers forms to fill out. We'll probably decide in a medication from there

When we were doing those forms, almost 20 years ago, I was so very surprised at how differently people saw my son. My husband and I, my son's grandparents, his teachers and his siblings all did forms (his siblings had to tell us their answers since they were small). You get a very good "real" picture of your child this way.

Yeah, I haven't had time but I plan on looking at the forms

Just a little update. I'm going on a medication for ADHD. 😊 Hopefully, that will help my grades a little

Tucker, I'm sure they've told you this, but sometimes it takes a while to find just the right medication and dosage, so don't get discouraged. Good luck!

Well, I was supposed to have an appointment yesterday but I overslept and missed it. It's rescheduled for the end of January. I'll let you know what happens 😊 Thanks for your concern

Not bad. I've been on xmas break so I haven't had to deal with school but I constantly forget to close things like doors, bags. I stare off into space a lot.
