This seemed like a slower month for the "monthly tag" reading. I personally did not get around to any Canadian authors as I was trying to focus on IRL book club and other challenges.
You can see the numbers for all past tags on this thread: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
(Including the numbers from shelfari; we missed the one month when we transferred here, as we had half our reviews on shelfari and half here, so there wasn't a good way to figure out the total number.)
Anyway, 65 is on the lower end for this year, but last year, it would have fit somewhere in the middle/average.
As everyone was so excited for literary fiction this month, there are lots of Canadian books/authors who write literary fiction, so I thought there would have been more. In fact, I'm not always a fan of the literary stuff, and I hate that so much (seems like most!) Canadian stuff is literary! Obviously, my opinion only. :-)
I finished my Canadian book in Nov. Did the same for my Friendship book the month before. Just waited too long before starting them.
I really enjoyed the Canadian tag. Read three last month and would have added a fourth but finished it few days into November. (Never mind since it falls to literary fiction as well)

I read 6, one finished at the last minute.
I participated in the holiday flurries but just didn't finish my two started Canadian reads. I was able to roll Station Eleven into this month's tag, but I'm still slogging through Emily of New Moon.

Me, I read 6 of them, I believe. I think Annapi helped with that number as well, as she read a bunch by Kelley Armstrong!
