Write, Wrote, Written discussion

[Note: I've decided to do an on-going writing project where I write as "someone else" (me, with a different name. In fact, everyone will have different names.) but with similar but more exaggerated events. If that makes any sense. In journal entry form. I'll probably do these things once every two weeks? It depends if I have time or not.]

Dear journal,

Hallo journal, I'm Lynda. (It's actually Melynda, but not many people know that. And I'm fine with it.) I'm an aspiring writer. It's my passion and my dream to publish a book one day, or a poem.

Okay, enough of that. I can't describe myself right now. I'm texting one of my friends--it's been an hour already--and writing in a word document right now. Now my best friend is Skype-messaging me? Wow, how popular am I?! Kidding!

Speaking of popularity, I saw this girl I totally hate today. Over the summer! Can you believe it? Her name is Nellie, and I absolutely despise her. So much. She used to date my two year long crush Felix. And she was a pretty popular girl in middle school. So glad I'm going to be a freshman in high school this fall.

Now you probably think I have a bad attitude, huh journal? Well, I don't. I'm actually a really nice person. I actually kind of feel bad for you, having to deal with all my stress and ramblings.

You'll know most of who I am soon enough.

This is a VERY good start. As you know, many early (before 1820) English novels were in journal form. Keep up the good work!

It's a word used in German, Dutch, French, Swedish, Icelandic (and I can go on for a while....)

I didn't know it was German until a few days ago...O.o I just like typing 'hallo' instead of 'hello' because...I dunno...It's more "natural" for me? XD
