𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮: Ryon is a quiet boy who spends time alone and is shown to be a bit temperamental when approached. He doesn't like talking to others and is seen as a delinquent because of his scary demeanor, yet in the inside, he likes to draw, play video games, likes cats and sometimes feels like he's missing something in his life.


𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮: Ryon had an imaginary friend as a child who was there for him through anything but then grew up to completely forget about him. Ryon is now in high school and one day bought a magical amulet (originally for his Girlfriend who left him the day before) and turns out it can turn things you've wanted to see into life.

(Could you start us off? I had to respond to my other rps)

(( Also, I'm thinking of making this into an actual story I write in the 'it's personal' Journals named 'An inconvenient attachment (不便な取り付け)', just with different names and looks and a few different things.

I actually wanted to rp the story first with a person before writing the story because 2 brains are better than when coming up with story ideas...So think of yourself as a co-author XD

Anyways i'll start))

The dismissal bell rang. The students in the classroom all stood up from their desks and hurried out, eager to leave school and go home or hang out with their friends all except one. The kid with black unruly hair and a face that didn't stand out much except his angled eyes that always made him seem scary or mad, he wasn't very tall bet neither short and had no charm.... he was just 'average, ordinary' as most would say.

The kid took his time to put away his notebooks, pens, and pencils he had used to draw throughout the whole period, he didn't bother doing schoolwork. When he had finished the boy walked out of the classroom and walked down the hallways, pondering about what he'd get his girlfriend for valentines day. To him, it was actually a pain in the ass and a total bother since valentines was a holiday worth puking about but since now he had an actual girlfriend he thought he might as well give her something after he didn't want to seem like a bad boyfriend.


A kid who usually talked to the boy walked down the hall the opposite way, a close friend perhaps (the only one), waved at the boy and smiled. "Hey, Ryon! "

Ryon was his name. Ryon never really liked his name...he was Japanese and the name was of Irish origin. His dad, A gay drunk, had a weird liking of Irish culture and decided to name his child that. Ryon waved back at his friend and kept walking.

Some time passed and Ryon was almost arriving home as he biked down the street, he wondered if he should stop somewhere to buy the gift since he wouldn't have time in the morning.

Right then and there he saw a small shop, squeezed in between two other shops, that said 'Jewels and Gifts'. "What a coincidence" he mumbled to himself, deciding to go with that store which strangely he had never seen before....and he always took the route to bike home!

Ryon placed his bike outside and went inside the shop hesitantly, it looked kind of abandoned but it wasn't. Coughing at the dust from the shelves he didn't see anyone at the front desk but a shelf of jewelry, each piece in glass displays, but one stood out the most.


It was a pretty necklace with a light blue hue and it was surprisingly cheap in price.
"I see you ar interested", Rasped a voice from behind.

Ryon jumped and looked back with wide eyes to see an old lady with a slightly hunched back, sly eyes, and a grin with lips painted red, " u-um. Yes, I like this one" Ryon pointed at the pretty necklace, he tried not to be rude but he couldn't stop from looking at the lady weirdly. She wasn't here before and she seemed so strange.

The lady nodded eagerly and happily, taking the necklace out of its container and putting it in a small gift box ideal for jewelry. She looked so happy to be finally selling the necklace as she hurried over to the counter. "That'll be 20.99$ young sir"

Ryon reluctantly took the money out of his wallet and gave it to the lady who happily took it in response and gave him a little baggie with the box inside. "Have a nice day...come back soon.."

Ryon nodded awkwardly and left the store, feeling a chill up his spine. He shook the feeling away and biked home with the bag in hand.

a few minutes had passed and he had gotten home. He went into his room which was actually pretty messy...there were drawings posted on the walls kind of like posters he had made himself and snack wrappers on the floor. He plopped himself on the bed and sighed, admiring the necklace.

To pass the time he decided to play video games when suddenly his phone pinged. Pausing the game he took a look at his screen to see it was a message from his girlfriend...? The message read

"Hey Ryon. I know this might seem harsh since tomorrow is valentines but i thought that i just have to tell you. What i wanted to say is that i am interested in someone else and plan on confessing tommorow...i'm sorry, it's not gonna work out anymore"

Ryon Gawked at his phone screen. He couldn't believe it and for a second, he thought it was a joke. "are....you kidding me? I bought that necklace for nothing!?" He said out loud in annoyance, tossing his phone across the bed. He didn't even bother to reply. He wasn't all that angered about the actual breakup, but that he had brought the necklace and now, out of all times, she decided to break it off.

Now he was stuck with a stupid necklace and no girlfriend. Irritated and annoyed he wrapped himself in the sheets and decided to sleep, letting out a hefty sigh. "whatever....i'll just sleep...," he thought to himself as his eyes fluttered and then finally closed.




((( YAS iM DONE with the intro !!! Okay, now it's your boy's time to shine. Through the night time he will come to life and in the morning Ryon sees him or it could be he wakes up in the middle of the night and hears a strange noise.... your choice))

((*slides into spotlight, then crashes into wall*))

Seto’s eyes opened into a dark room. He could see the outline of a bed, a desk and a chair, and he sat down on the chair. Seto stretched himself out, getting used to being in this room. He realized his hood was down, and subconsciously pulled it up over his horns.
He stood up again, and noticed paper on the walls. Seto grabbed one down, and looked over it, his eyes finally adjusted to the dark. He put one of his feet back behind him to keep his balance, and instead fell to the ground with a loud thud.

The necklace glowed a blue hue that dimly lit the room as Seto came to life. Ryon had been fast asleep and didn't even notice this until he heard a thud in his own room. Awoken with a startle he sat up quickly on his bed, blinking his tired eyes as he looked around the room, then noticing the necklace was glowing...?

Ryon grabbed it from his desk and looked utterly confused. Suddenly his gaze shifted over to the floor...there was a figure.
"GAh!!" Ryon yelled in shock, was there an intruder in the room!?|
Ryon hurried to grab anything useful for self-defense...he had grabbed a fork he had left on his counter as he fumbled around to turn on the lamp next to him.

Finally, he could see the figure clearly, noticing it was a guy...he looked around his age. "What the hell man!?" Ryon had not noticed this was, in fact, Seto. Seto only existed in his childhood memories as an imaginary friend which he barely remembered.

Seto sat up, startled. He looked up at the spice of the voice and saw.. Ryon? “Um, hi,” he said nervously. He double checked his hood was up, before slowly standing up.
“It’s me, Seto. Do you remember me? I am- was,” he was confuse now. Was he still imaginary? Or was he real now. Why would Ryon remember him now over any other time? “I don’t know why I’m here. I just, woke up here.”

Ryon's eyes were wide as he saw the kid stand up. For a few seconds he truly did not know the guy and was confused before it took him around 10 seconds to realize...he did look familiar...

The name Seto made a switch turn on in Ryon's head. He remembered now, but faintly, that Seto was the name of his imaginary friend...yet the person in front of him looked so real and was an actual person, or was he?

"i'm dreaming...i must be" He mumbled to himself before poking his arm with the fork a tad roughly. It hurt. No, it wasn't a dream.


Ryon gulped, still standing on his bed. He needed to confirm something."You...uh, back up..into the corner of the room" the corner was far away from Ryon's bed.
"Seto...He wasn't real...if you really are him, then what's My favorite color, food, animal, and book..and " Ryon hesitated but then spoke again," ...what happened that one day in the playground.."

(Answers to the question:

Color is yellow

Animal is Ram

Food is Chazuke, a simple Japanese dish made by pouring green tea, dashi, or hot water over cooked rice.

The book is Rashomon by Ryunosuke Akutagawa

What happened at the playground was: Some boys in the playground teased Ryon for being quiet and always drawing. Ryon would mumble to himself because he was actually talking to Seto. Many kids felt creeped out by him and the teasing got worse when a group of boys threw rocks at him.

Seto was there to comfort Ryon when he cried and hurt)))

Seto was hurt. Ryon didn’t trust him? He backed into the corner as he had asked. His hands fiddled with his hoodie sleeves as he stood there.

When Ryon asked the questions, Seto looked up. He knew the answers, and could prove that it really was him!
“Well, your favorite color was yellow, maybe changed now. Animal was Ram.” Seto laughed at that, as it made him think of his horns. “I am pretty sure the food was Chazuke, and book was Rashomon.”

Seto’s smile left his face at the last question. “That was the day you got teased, because you liked to draw and didn’t talk much. The other kids thought you were weird because you talked to me, and no one else could see or hear me. They hit you with rocks, and I-“ his eye began to tear up. “I couldn’t help you. All I could was comfort you through the pain. I couldn’t take the pain away.”

Ryon couldn't believe it...it was really him, but how? He put the fork down and hopped off his bed when he heard seto sniffle, what was he suppose to do in a situation like this?
"How...are you even here? You were never supposed to exist..." Ryon mumbled this to himself then walked over to the other male and grabbed his hand. It was actual flesh, and he was warm?

"it really is you, i guess. Only Seto knew all these things about me..."

Seto smiled up at Ryon. “I don’t know how I’m here,” he said, “but here I am. I’m here for you now.” He pulled Ryon’s hand up to his chest and held it close. “I really am here, and I won’t leave you. Can’t forget about me now,” he joked, chuckling lightly.

Seto let Ryon’s hand drop, and stood tall again. He shifted his hood to make it more comfortable over his horns, then said “now that I’m here, I don’t really k ow what to do. So much has changed since we were little.”

Ryon still slightly felt as if it was all just a dream. He looked at the boy who, just as he alway imagined, could float. Ryon had stopped drawing ever since middle school and the only art that remained from him was the old drawings posted on his wall, the only ones he was really proud of.

"i...stopped drawing and gave up on being a mangaka. I also had a girlfriend for about...an hour ago or something. So yeah, i guess you could say that"

“Why did you stop drawing? Your pictures were always so beautiful.” Seto dragged Ryon over to the bed and sat down. “And a girlfriend? What was her name? You have to tell me everything!”
Seto was like a girl when it came to Ryon. They use to share everything with each other.

"oh, well..." Ryon was a bit surprised when he got seated on the bed, seto was eager to know everything. "I don't really care, but her name is Nami. Tomorrow is valentines and i wanted to give her that neklace" he pointed over at his desk,"but she dumped me so now i have it"

Come to think of it that necklace was glowing really strangely....he would return it tommorow.

Ryon felt a bit bashful when seto said his drawings were still pretty, on the inside he was glad to hear that but would never admit it. Being a mangaka was a childish dream anyways....

He pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, puffing out smoke from his mouth.

“You can spend Valentines with me, like we used to! That’s what friends do, right? I don’t want to leave you alone on a day you should be spending with someone you care about.”
Seto’s face went dark when he saw Ryon pull out the cigarette. “Those are bad for you you know. They will kill you.” He used two fingers to pull the cigarette out from between Ryon’s lips. “You aren’t allowed to smoke anymore.

"Huh ?Hey!, What's with you ?" Ryon grumpily went over to Seto and tried snatching his cig back. "You can't just do that, you know!"

“I will do it as much as I have to. You aren’t allowed to smoke now that I am here, so deal!” Seto continued to keep the cigarette out of Ryon’s reach. He ducked under Ryon’s outstretched arm and darted over to the other side of the room.

"i never remember making you this annoying" he sighed, plopping himself back on the bed. Suddenly his dad knocked on the door.
"Ryoonnnn! Are you in there darling?" said tha an in a very flamboyant voice.

"oh fuck.." he cursed under his breath and grabbed seto's arm, shoving him into the closet. "hurry, get in there!" he hissed

Seto stumbled into the closet, tripping over the stuff on the floor. He sat down on the short shelf at the base of the closet. He realized he was still holding the cigarette and made sure to hold it away from any clothes.
He placed his ear against the closet door to listen in on the conversation. His curiosity was never satisfied.

Ryon went to grab the door and opened it, looking at his dad. Ryon's father was rather flamboyant (think of Haruhi's dad from Host Club)
and was always in his business but only because he cared.

"what is it that?"

"Are you okay? I thought i heard a voice beside yours so i came to check" The father peered passed ryon and tried peeking into his room.

Seto did his best to breath as quietly as possible, while still listening in. He didn’t want Ryon to get in trouble because of him. After all, Seto has been imagined for Ryon as a friend, and friends keep other friends out of trouble.
