Only starting to get into it now, but enjoyed this one, even though the bathrooms were far and the wind was crazy :-)
I'm glad you enjoyed your camping trip Sarita. I grew up camping in some beautiful places in California like Yosemite, in the redwoods, and in the Mount Shasta area, however I haven't been camping in years, not since my family and I moved to Georgia. This is largely due to allergies, poor weather conditions, and the massive amount of bugs in this state. I hope to someday live in a place where I can enjoy camping once again and can make good use of all of my camping gear.
I'm so happy that we've officially started this challenge and we're off to a good start with planning our reads. I'm really amazed you both (Megan and Sarita) can read so many books over 100 pages in less than a month! :)

Monique wrote: "I'm glad you enjoyed your camping trip Sarita. I grew up camping in some beautiful places in California like Yosemite, in the redwoods, and in the Mount Shasta area, however I haven't been camping ..."Weather plays a huge role! Camping is not fun in icy or rainy weather.
I agree Sarita. Camping in wet weather isn’t much fun. I enjoy cold weather camping though because there are less bugs out and I love keeping warm with campfires, cozy winter clothing, and comfy sleeping bags and blankets. :)
Thank you for the books you’ve read so far for this challenge Sarita! :)We have 8 days left of this first round, which ends December 9th, so I’m trying to wrap up my last few reads for this round. Also, I’m continually updating message #s 4 & 5 in this chat thread during Round One.
How are your reads going Megan?
I hope you both had a nice Thanksgiving. :)
Have 2 books going. One which will be 4 points and one 5 - will see if I can read a kiddies book or something just for the other categories to at least get 1 point. Last 2 days of reading was a bit slow due to being tired :-)
Thank you for the update Sarita! You’ve been doing great with this challenge! :)I’ve also read several children’s books for the first round of this challenge, mainly because the last few weeks have been really busy and I haven’t had much time or energy to read... House and food prep projects leading up to Thanksgiving, out of state family visiting that I hadn’t seen in a very long time, several days of Christmas decorating, lots of house cleaning, and a ton of fall yard cleanup (I live in a forest)... Things should slow down now for a bit, so I can tackle some books with a higher page count. :)
