Book Lust Reading Guild discussion

Has anyone read this series? I've heard both "it's great!" and "it's terrible!" so I'm having a hard tome deciding whether to read it or not.

You could just try borrowing it from the public library and read a couple of chapters to see if it would surprise you. A lot of fantasy novels, especially young adult, tends to be divisive so it's tough to tell whether or not it's your cup of tea. Personally, I had plenty of pleasant surprises reading books that Goodreads consider "meh" following reading challenges and what not.

That being said, I haven't read the series so I can't offer anything more than that.
