I’d love to hear about any new easy readers people have noticed!

There are so many cool graphic novel hybrids in the easy reader category now. Toon Books continues to delight (I saw 3x4 won a best of — Kirkus?). Baby Monkey Private Eye is another game changer.

The new Mo Willems series looks good. I haven’t read I LOST MY TOOTH yet, but it’s on order.

Has anyone had a look at the new Acorn imprint from Scholastic? https://www.publishersweekly.com/pw/b...

One on my radar is Fox & Chick: The Party: and Other Stories - it feels fresh and works well as an easy reader.

And thanks for the heads-up on the Acorn imprint - Branches books have been super popular here, and I'm happy to see they're stretching into even younger books!

I just read I Lost My Tooth a few days ago and loved it! Excited for a new series from Mo Willems.

Unpopular opinion: I cannot stand "Fox & Chick". The artwork puts me off and I just did not like the story. I'm eagerly awaiting something new by Jonathan Fenske. I love his stuff. :)
