Updated—since we will be starting 2 new series in 2019, this folder will be moved down. I will have a thread for anyone who wants to keep reading these books but we will move on in terms of “official” discussions.

I am ready to start this. I am reading a different series between these books and the contrast in writing styles is stark. I don’t think Goodkind improved his writing skills over time the way many authors seems to. Instead, he seems to have gotten more repetitious—rather than let a few words convey the scene or mood, he goes on and on. Maybe this book will be better in that regard... we’ll see.
