Creatures of the Night discussion

Corey walked into the beach and smiled as the warm sun hit his lightly tanned skin. He looked at the water and thought of all the creatures he could become.

Akiko stood by the water as a wave rolled over her feet. She smiled and bent down to draw her name in the wet sand.

He smiled at her and took off his shirt, "I'm going for a swim," he stated.

She turned and watched him curiously, "I'm gonna stay here and uh build a castle." She said, flustered.

He nodded, "alright," he took off his pants and saddles, being only in boxers, then went into the water.

She sat down and scooped up handfuls of sand into a bucket that was halfway buried in the sand. She glanced in his direction as he went into the water.

He swam around a bit and noticed her look over, "wanna come in? The water is warm," he called.

She sighed, "I don't know how..." she called back to him.

He looked at her surprised and walked out of the water and to her, "I can teach you."

She looked up at him and smiled brightly, "Okay."

He nodded and looked at her cloths, "sorry, but you'll have to lose some of your cloths. There's to much extra weight."

Akiko blushed and stood up slowly, she pulled off her hoodie and shirt.

Corey looked away, trying to give her a but of privacy.

...then her pants and shoes.

Corey walks back to the water. He walks until it up to his waist and waits for her.

She walks into the warm water and stands by Corey nervously.

"I won't let you drown," he assured her. He places his hand on her upper back, between her shoulder blades," and slowly walks her a bit deeper in.

She took a deep breath and nodded,

Corey stopped when the water was just bellow their chests.

Akiko brushed her fingers over the surface of the water.

He smiled, "you okay?"

She giggled, "Yeah."

Corey nodded, "what do you want to try and do first?"

"What are my options?" she asked curiously.

"We could start with floating on your back. Or doggy prattle," he offered.

"Floating sounds easy" she said happily.

He nodded and placed his hand on her mid back, "lean back."

Akiko leaned back and stared up at the clouds.

Corey put his other hand under her legs to help her, "your doing good," he helped her striation out.

She looked at Corey then straightened out,

He nodded and slowly took his hands away.

She stayed very still and floated on the water.

Corey watched her, "you can move a bit," he stated, trying not to chuckle at her stillness.

She giggled and relaxed a little bit, spreading her arms out, she began to float away.

He laughed and fallowed her as she floated around.

She giggled and turned her head to look at Corey.

He offered her a smile, "having fun?"

"Yes." she said as she stood up in the water that was now up to her shoulders.

He nodded, "want to keep going?" He asked.

She answered him casually, "Yes."

He nods, "want to try swimming?"

She thinks for a minute then nods, "Yeah."

"Okay, I need you to stay calm."

"Okay, I'm calm." she said expressionlessly.

He nodded, "lean forward. Kick your feet, use your hands as paddles, and keep your head up.""
