Oh. I might join you guys. I was thinking about getting rid of mine. This could be the last hurrah.Mine are signed too. But, I kinda lost interest in the series.
Yes, join us Alyssia. I enjoyed the series up until #12 then it took a path I was not comfortable with.
I need to find mine. They are still in boxes after our move (hopefully never again!) Are we talking this coming Friday the 22nd?
I own up until 19, but I think I was in the middle of 16 when I stopped reading. I don't remember a lot of the later ones though. The early ones I've read several times.

It was a little confusing. My cable is out so I am at McDonald's using WiFi to make my comments.
Edward is pretty cool.

On a side note, we went see IfI Stay today. It was very good. It stayed true to the book with only a few differences.

That's good to know. I've been trying to decide if I want to see it.

I finished up. What are y'all thinking of Anita Blake and Guilty Pleasures? Jean Claude used Anita but he did it for good reasons. Granted those reasons also benefited him. I think Jean Claude is Hot in a clearly Mr. Darcy way. Compared to the other vampires in this book, he is one of the better vampires.

We took a my daughter and a few friends of hers. They loved it! Those that didn't read the book wanted to or to read the next book.

Definitely! He was devious but it was to protect both of them.

I liked it. Looking forward to more.
I agree with you and Alyssia that it's not really similar to Cassandra Palmer. I do see similarities (rat shifters - gross!), but the story line and mood of both is completely different.

Anita Blake has been compared to many other characters. I relate her strength to that of Mercy Thompson, but as I read further, she also reminds me a great deal to Riley Jenson by Keri Arthur.
