Don't we all? Her royal relatives do pay for her to travel a lot and she has some interesting friends, not to mention her selfish Mummy and Mummy's German industrialist lover. How Darcy gets around with no money is more of a mystery.

I thought Darcy was a government agent of some sort, thus traveled on business.

That's my theory though it hasn't been explicitly confirmed yet, at least not as of book six (which is where I am in the series). Georgie thinks it too. I don't know what else he could be.

Yes, that is a very interesting mystery.
I agree with Sandy and Veronica that he must be working for the government. I'm only on book #6 so perhaps we will learn later what he does exactly.
