I was doing an ISBN search and got a pink "internal server error" message. Then I did an ASIN search with the same results.

I tried to go to the Librarians group and got the internal server error again. Tried again and got a message saying "Unable to search families."

Also tried the feedback group and got the internal server error message.

Has anybody else ran into this problem or is it just me?

Jacquie, Good to know. I came here to see if there was any information. Book search didn't work, repeatedly, and then I also got error pages instead of Leafmarks pages.

All has been working fine for me for quite a while now, Jacquie. Thanks so much.

I've been getting various 504 Errors/plain grey screens/Unable to do "action" errors for the last 10 mins.

Anyone else having this problem or is it me?

I had some freeze-ups but not sure if that was Leafmarks or the iOS update which was also causing Safari freeze ups on other sites.

Now from Chrome browser, Leafmarks does not load at all for me. Blog.leafmarks.com shows but doesn't say anything about main site being down; neither do their facebook or twitter pages.

Its working for me now, its just really slow.

It just came back up for me.

I just got that, too. But, 30 minutes ago it was fine.

Hopefully just adding something new (*crosses fingers* series pages?).

It's up for me - they've added a couple of new things:

- Configurable “Show Images in News Feed" - new checkbox in Edit Profile -> Customizations. By default, it is off and you will not see images, gifs, or videos in the feed.

- Blocked users will not show up in your news feed .

Well, that's very nice.

The ability to turn the animation of gifs off is something I was waiting from GR from the day I joined.

I'm now on my desktop and getting a 500 server error for Leafmarks. (And 10 minutes ago I was on my iPad and using the site to add a currently reading book).

Nevermind, it's back up with new newsletter on home page.

Sigh. I'm having a lot of trouble with searching books tonight on LM. Hope it is not a trend.

Still can't find "Small Magics" by the Andrews (probably not added yet) or "Flex" --Search stalls out on Flex. Dropped a note to Jacquie.

I'll see if I can find via isbn; if not I'll add. It should have imported there via onix feed just like on goodreads.

Nope, isbn failed so I'm adding the ebook and kindle editions, give me a moment and I'll edit this to post the links. Onix feed may not have run since published or publisher may not have included the ebook in the onix.

Did you put in a librarians request on Leafmarks that I need to mark completed? Found the librarian request on Leafmarks and noted appropriately. I think this was a question of your request to add the book not being dealt with by librarians up yet rather than Leafmarks site or site search being broken. Request was at https://www.leafmarks.com/lm/#/discus... and no librarian had posted anything on it indicating book had been added or that anyone had even seen the request.

(I really think it's time for Leafmarks to let members add books; I understand why not when dealing with feeds, imports, and setting up what they wanted for book database ... but that's as setup as I think it's going to be barring adding new fields in future).

ETA: book record completed. Shows correctly in search and in The Library. Their regular publisher didn't publish it so wouldn't have been on data feed.

Thanks for adding Small Magics. In theory, I could do it, but I don't actually know how to do these things correctly, so I didn't want to add a new book and create database errors. So I left a note in the librarian group, but my sense was things in general are just less active.

Flex. Both times I searched, it stalled out on me--no titles came up at all, just returned to search dialog box.

Search didn't stall; the book just wasn't there to search.

I'll take care of the Flex one for you.

Creating a book is pretty clearcut if a librarian (or if Leafmarks ever let's readers just add a book), so you should feel comfortable doing that (an imperfect or incomplete book record worse than no book in search, to rate, update, review, etc.) - but, I do think things have stalled.

Personally, I've stalled in librarian edits (obviously including librarian requests) because of real life busy-ness and because pausing to get some less clear edits resolved. I had been hot and heavy working on series because thought Jacquie had clarified my questions (answers irritatingly keep changing and edits changing back and forth) and was working on adding even more series features which would be easier the better shape series were in ..

Not best thrilled that years of librarian efforts here on goodreads have just benefited Amazon who overwrites at will with marketplace seller stuff like replacing book description from back of book a librarian typed in with " Like new with dust jacket see my seller rating we ship quick" phrases. If Leafmarks is stalling except for some librarians on concentrating on adding fanfiction the way they ant rather than how Leafmarks policies want (*whine* what's so bloody awful about asking that they stick the URL info in the URL field instead of elsewhere?) … I'm in wait-and-see mode.

They didn't fill out cover and other info from http://angryrobotbooks.com/books/flex... so I'll complete it.
