I started it, and then we moved houses and I promptly lost the book, and it took me forever to find it again. I still haven't restarted it, so this might be the encouragement I need! I like fantasy-type books, but don't really read them because they have too much detail, so this is definitely outside my normal genre of reading.
My ideas:Science related:
What If?: Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions
Astrophysics for People in a Hurry
Western:
A book by Craig Johnson
Fantasy:
Circe
Here is an idea for anyone who does not read Fantasy/Science Fiction: The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen. The first book of a triology. Had no idea what to expect as I only chose it because I liked the title (and fantasy). And, not even sure at first if I was going to like it but then, that Book Magic happened and I was drawn in and began living in the story. The setting seemed a bit Game of Thrones-ish but, there is an intriguing twist on the setting as the story unfolds which took me by surprise. I listened to this on an audiobook that I had interlibrary-loaned at the library. Excellent reader!

I have read the fifth season... wonderful. I don't normally read crime fiction, but my not usual genre book is The Whistler by John Grisham... can't put it down, a page turner and highly recommended.
