I plan on reading The Bride Test by Helen Hoang. This book stood out to me for the same reason her debut novel The Kiss Quotient did, they're love stories where the protagonist is different, in this one the groom has autism, and it effects the way the couple shows love.
Haven't read her first book yet but I know this one is highly anticipated.
I just finished Winter of the Heart by E. G. Parsons. This completes my first book for the challenge.
this one is mine by maria semple. Not sure i really enjoyed it - the characters were really difficult to like but it was well written... I'd previously read where d'you go bernadette by the same author which i loved (no wedding in it though!)

I read Where'd You Go Bernadette earlier this year and I found some of the characters pretty unlikeable too but by the end she'd completely flipped me on characters and I ended up really enjoying the book.
For this subject I read The Forrest of Hands and Teeth. It had a wedding and explained as to what happens and the reasoning. Although this is a slow burn book for me it is a beginning of a trilogy I believe so that makes for good reasoning.
'Always and Forever Lara Jean' by Jenny Han includes the wedding of her father, not too much about it but it is in there! And Lara Jean spends a lot of time planning it. This is the third in the 'To All the Boys I Loved Before' and was really good.
