I did see The Tidelanders netflix ....Have you seen the Siren show on Freeform? I love that show too. It is called Siren.

I know I've seen books about sirens.
I'll try to get to freebie links tomorrow. I've got a bunch in my email I haven't gotten to. Maybe I'll try later tonight. I just skimmed subject lines and one is horror and another angles and demons.

This month is a promotion and you can get two. So if you do the $1.99 prime trial for a week you can actually get two books for $1.99. If thats confusing I'm sorry. 😕
They are books that won't be released until next month but with first reads you get them a month early and cheaper.

If I ever get caught up books about hauntings would make a great theme challenge. It seems to be popular with most everyone.
I think that book sounds really good and $.99 is a great price.

This is a GREAT book of alternative history. The idea is in order to make peace with the plains indians one chief tells the army give us 100 white women to take as wives and we will intermarry. Women volunteer and the book takes off from there.
I've read a lot of fiction/nonfiction about the annihilation of the plains tribes. Most notible and disturbing is Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee by Dee Brown. One Thousand White Women really made me think about "what if."
If you like historical fiction this book is a must read. I'm someone who normally HATES books that are "alternative" historical fiction but this was done in a way that made me think. It's one of my all time favorite books. It's well worth the $2.99.

I thought should have a section where we can get recommendations, I was thinking we can come here and say what type of book we want to read. Sorry if there is already this type of post somewhere.
To start off, I would like to request recommendations for books on sirens or succubus beings? If anyone has watched it there was a tv show on Netflix called the tidelanders and it was about sirens... I want to read something like that show.
