I have 96 pages so far. I am pretty slow. Especially here lately. I will be doing more starting next week, hopefully.
Cade: How are you?Me: Pretty good.
Cade: How do you feel?
Me: Pretty good.
Cade: Am I talking to a robot now?
Me: Pretty much.
Cade: Do you feel like one.
Me: Pretty much.
Cade: Okay, seriously. Is there something you need?
Me: Someone to talk to, other than a mom.
Cade: Okay, what do you want to talk about?
Me: What did we talk about when we thought the world was normal?
Cade: What are you doing in school?
Me: No one talked like that.
Cade: I did.
Me: Yeah, but you’re not normal!
Cade: I guess not. So, what do normal people talk about?
I pause for a while.
Me: I don’t know. I can’t remember.
Cade: Because we are not normal and won’t be ever again. Don’t wish you were. What do Brights talk about?
Me: I don’t know that either.
Cade: Because you have just begun. What do you want to talk about?

That's awful! But ... entirely true, lol. I do it all the time!

I know! I am terrible at that part! I hate characters dying. And all of my characters are important to me. I need to buck up and get the job done.
@Harper Nicole, maybe just step back a bit? Gain some perspective. Watch a movie that inspires you or make a pinterest board! Read some good books. Kill a character. :)

I try not to pressure myself because it isn't like I have a deadline, but it is taking me forever to write, and I am almost ready to move on to my next book! But I should take a step away from it. Good advice.

But when the Dims suddenly get smarter and stronger, they spot a war coming. And when Brooke finds out what is really going on, she is forced to stand apart from everyone else. And lead in a way she has never done before.
I am not a professional writer, so who knows if this book will ever be published. I don't really have a word count, so I will probably go by page.
