This qualifies almost by accident. I wasn't reading this as part of the challenge but discovered early on some of it was set in Scotland.
Byron of course spent his childhood in Aberdeenshire.

Great review, Jack. I adored this one, it's so very beautifully written! I'm currently reading Buddha Da, which I’m fairly enjoying, but think Gone Are The Leaves is by far her better book. :)

That's me hit the twenty now.

I'm not sure I ought to count this one. Kate Atkinson does live in Scotland, I believe, but there is nothing Scottish about this book.

Well done for reaching your goal, Jack!
Transcription is high up on my to-read pile - your review confirmed that. Though the book itself is not very Scottish, it still counts in this group as the author has Scottish links. So definitely still count it!
