I didn't grow up watching M. Rogers so I hope this will give me a little piece of that!

It was an amazing book. The audiobook was fantastic. I'd also recommend watching the documentary Won't You Be My Neighbor?.

I grew up with the show and nearly cried when the audiobook opened and closed with Mr. Rodgers singing the theme song of hi show, won't you be my Neighbor.

I just started and got the audio book version because of the opening song. then found out that LeVar Burton is the narrator. yes!

Thanks for the headsup on the Burton as the narrator! I was going to wait a bit on this one as I have so (SO) many other books I'm in the middle of right now. But, knowing who is narrating the audio book? Yup, just checked it out from my library/hoopla. : )

Listening to this one on audio! I remember his show from when I was little but I actually didn’t know anything about Mr. Rogers so it’s interesting to learn. So far I think the writing and audio are well done, but I’ll be rating based on enjoyment. I know Emily doesn’t rate these kind of books and I can see why!
