Any favorite Harry Potter films?

A. Cook (angiecook) I really enjoyed the very first movie (The Sorcerer's Stone). I was just like a kid in the theater.

Absolutely all of them! I love the older ones because they're adorable and fill me with nostalgia. I love the newer ones because the cinematography is absolutely amazing. Actually, I think for the last movie, when I saw it in the theater, I cried so hard the first time ("HOGWARTS IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL WHEN IT'S BURNING.") that I had to watch it a second time to actually see what was going on.

You're right they were all pretty magical and I would get so excited when a new install would come out. But first one was really awesome because the casting was done so well. The Harry I read in the books was on the movie screen.

Subsequent movie would leave out some really important parts of the storyline that was and is important to the progression of the story. It is understood that not every part of a book can be added to a movie but some things should have not been left out.

Was really, really sad when it all ended.

Tessa | 29 comments The First two and the last two are my favorites. The first two because they are the closest to the books and the last two because they are the end of the series

Even though the last movies did leave things out, I still believe that they were amazing in their own right. Considering the books are massive, I'm just impressed that they managed to cover most of the important stuff.

And can we just take a moment to discuss the beautiful music that was composed for the HP movie franchise? John Williams really started it out wonderfully and all the composers following really never disappointed me.

These Violent Delights (Robin) I adored every single HP movie! I cried so hard because there aren't going to be any more HP movies...

Marlene (missnewyorkxoxo) | 43 comments Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. It is my favorite book in the series so I was anxious to see it. I thought they did a very good job with the film !!

I have seen most the movies multiple times just never finished them and I finally have most the book series 1-6 still need to get 7 when I get enough money too since I am raising my daughter. Though once I finish the books I may try finding the movies on DVD and watch them all the way through.
