For most of the story I thought it was Tamar, especially when Amy moved into the house and was then abducted and killed. It wasn’t until close to the reveal that I moved away from her as the suspect.
I thought it was Tamar. When it was mentioned that she always rides home with Vivian but didn't on the afternoon that Vivian died, I suspected that Tamar was the person who poisoned her. I also thought that she had hired someone to get rid of Amy while they were out shopping.
Very similar thinking on this point, Robin. I just wonder how Tamar could influence Gregory so quickly, whether he had a thing going with her and Amy (not at the same time, ick), or that Tamar was threatened with Amy's presence and production of a son.
I never thought it was Amy because it'd have been too easy. Tamar was always among my top suspects, and even when Mrs Spratt-Williams being the culprit became a very real possibility, I still couldn't completely stop suspecting Tamar until the very end.
I suspected Tamar until Lisa Biofare (sp?) said something about Vivian and Spratt-Williams' argument. After that I knew it was her.
