This movie was amazing! Jeff Bridges was PERFECT for playing The Giver just like I expected. The whole cast was awesome.
Also, did anyone catch on in the book that Rosemary was The Giver's and The Chief Elders' biological daughter? I guess the first time it clicked for me was in the movie yesterday.

I just read the book, I don't remember it actually saying The Chief Elder was her mom. I just thought the movie was trying to hint that even though it wasn't there. Idk.

I thought it as horrible. It was completely different from the book and that made me really upset. I wish they had followed the storyline instead of making up stuff. If I hadn't read the book, it would have been good. However, knowing how they undermined the lessons and plot in the book is not something you can overlook.

I did notice that they kind of weakened the meaning of the lessons in it also but other than that, I thought it was great.
