Hi Dawn! Two books that I've added to my TBR pile:City of Girls
Internment
We Set the Dark on Fire
Rayne & Delilah's Midnite Matinee
2018 was such a good year for YA lit, it looks like 2019 could be too!

I don't think City of Girls is a YA title. It looks like it is for adults.
I'm looking forward to reading:On the Come up
We Set the Dark on Fire
The Love and Lies of Rukhsana Ali
Slayer
The Art of Losing
Watch Is Rise
Internment
How to Make Friends With the Dark
So much good stuff coming up! I don't see anything on the horizon that looks as good as Blood, Water, Paint, but the year is young.
I'm looking forward to:On the Come Up
Angel Thieves
The Past & Other Things that should Stay Buried
King of Scars
I've recently read an e-galley of With the Fire on High and can report that it's excellent. I think the readers in this group are really going to like it.
Adding to my list:
Internment
Brave face: a memoir
Forward me Back to You
Watch Us Rise
If it Makes You Happy
Destroy All MonstersAll We Could Have Been
I also echo the excitement for Lovely War, The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried, and Internment.
I read an ARC of The weight of our sky by Hanna Alkaf and it blew me away. I know it already has one starred review. Releases next month. I second with the Fire on High and Watch it rise.
Looking forward to reading: The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried by Shaun David Hutchinson

We haven't voted for a June book yet, right? I am still in line for the May book at the library so I want to place my hold as soon as possible.
I take it that August book is DIG. I've read it and I'm ready to discuss. Time to open up the thread?
I just finished "13 doorways, wolves behind them all" by Laura Ruby and it was wonderful! Definitely one to watch! Also, it was just named as a National Book Award 2019 Longlist Nominee!
I loved "13 doorways, wolves behind them all" by Laura Ruby as well. I also like "Girls Like Us" by Randi Pink, and "Forward me back to you" by Mitali Perkins.
