Please read the rules in their entirety before creating characters and roleplaying in the group.

1. Be respectful. Easy enough. Don't be mean or condescending, all drama is well and good in character, but rudeness ooc will not be tolerated.

2. No godmodding. There's magic in this universe, but your character can't be all powerful, and they certainly cannot make other characters do something the roleplayer hasn't approved beforehand.

3. Keep it realistic in the universe. The Wizarding World is full of fantastical creatures, and what I love most about it is the room for creativity in terms of characters and plot. HOWEVER, no, your character cannot be half-banshee, half-werewolf, descendant of Merlin, AND Voldemort's child. It also applies in the character histories.

4. Character creation. Like I said, there's a lot of room of creativity so I'm just gonna keep it simple:
-Human face claims only (no cartoons or anime, please!).
-Keep face claims within realistic ages (nobody thinks a 30 year old looks 16).
-If your character has a position (teacher, Quidditch team, prefect), please claim it before submitting your character for approval.
-All characters must be approved by a moderator before roleplaying.

5. Keep it PG-13. Some swearing is ok, but no smut. Skip it or take it to personal messages.

6. Roleplaying. This is not an advanced roleplay, but try to post at least three sentences when roleplaying. Be patient with your roleplay partner, we all have school, work, writer's block, and life to deal with.

7. Plagiarism. Since we are using canon characters from JK Rowling's mind, we all want them to be as accurate as possible. However, we can't use this as an excuse to straight up copy and paste their information from one of the resources mentioned above. Plagiarism will not be taken lightly.

Failure to abide by these rules will result in a strike. Three strikes and you will be removed from the group.
