Welcome! Let's get to know each other! Tell us a little bit about yourself.
What's your favorite book (yes, you can only pick one)?
Favorite genre?
What's something that takes up most of your life/free time these days?
Favorite Disney show/movie?
Current fave tv show to binge?

What else do we need to know about you? What else do you want to know about us?

Hello! I'm Saschia. My forever favorite book is "Man's Search for Meaning" by Victor Frankl. Forever changed my life.
Favorite genre: psych mystery/thriller
Currently art, therapy, and self-care are taking up my time these days.
My favorite Disney show/movie is Princess Diaries.
Current tv binge is definitely "Maniac" or "The Sinner" both on Netflix.
What else do you need to know?
I love reading but often don't stop and breathe enough to just pick up a book. I love to hear differing opinions and experiences and how they influence our interpretations of the world around us (something I think we'll probably experience with this specific book).
I've never been a part of a book club, let alone lead one but I am more than excited to build this community.
Thank you for stepping out and joining.

Jenna Heyo I’m jenna. I’m 24, full time student and part time caretaker. I have the coolest dog ever and love to spoil him. I recently moved back up to Northern California to finish my bachelors.

My favorite book of all time is definitely Pride and Prejudice. Mr Bingley was my first literary crush!

Lately my free time is occupied by mountains of homework and watching Real Housewives on Hulu.

My favorite genres are fantasy, horror, female autobiographies, science fiction, and the occasional romance novel.

I’m excited to get into our first book!

Favorite genre: thriller. Currently on a Stephen King binge
Current TV favorite is comedians in cars getting coffee to counteract all the scary true crime media I take in
If I have to pick just one Disney favorite it’s The Lion King

Jessica Domangue | 2 comments Hi all, I’m Jessica.
My favorite book is A Wrinkle In Time by Madeline L’Engle (way before the movie, so don’t judge it by that!).
My favorite genre is fantasy, but I love memoirs also.
I teach a combo 3rd and 4th grade class and I’m also in school to get my masters in education, so what’s free time? :)
Favorite binge will forever and always be Gilmore Girls. I watch it over and over and it always makes me happy.
I’ve already read the Crazy Rich Asians trilogy and loved it, so I’m excited to hear what you guys think!!

Hannah Vidmar | 2 comments Hi everyone! I’m Hannah :)
I like to spend my free time running, being outside whenever possible, reading, eating and drinking (usually chocolate, icecream, and mochas) I’m currently trying to write more and read more. So I’m excited for this group!
Thanks Saschia for doing this!

I actually forgot the other questions and I can’t go back to see them but I remember something about Netflix. Sadly I don’t have Netflix but when I get the chance I love Brooklyn 99 for a good laugh 😂🕺

Oh my favorite book is.....ahhh I’m so bad I really can’t just pick one. Withering heights, count of monte cristo, resurrection, compelled by love are a few favorites. I’m also a big fan of your favorites (not to copy, I genuinely love mans search for meaning, wrinkle in time, Harry Potter) so adventure memoirs. My favorite genres are classics and adventure memoirs.

I think that was all the questions. I’ll add more if I forgot something. And if you can’t tell I do love to talk.

Thanks again Saschia! I just got crazy rich Asians. How far along are you all?

Hannah Vidmar | 2 comments Oh favorite Disney movie is for sure Mulan and beauty and the beast.

message 11: by Mandy (new)

Mandy | 1 comments Hello! I’m Mandy :)

My favorite books is Mark of the Lion by Francine Rivers

My favorite genre changes with the seasons of life I’m in but right now is probably Biography or Memoir.

Something that takes up most of my life theses days are my job (and the college students I love on because of my job), helping plan my sisters wedding, and working on becoming an all-around healthier and happier me!

I’m home sick and I’ve been binging Tiding Up on Netflix all day! My all time go to binge show is How I Met Your Mother!

Something to know about me... I have loved ready since I was a child and stayed up all night under my covers to read Harry Potter. After getting a masters degree and all the assigned reading that came with it, I feel out of practice with picking up books of all kinds and letting them teach and challenge and move me. I have never been part of a book club before and I am so excited to do this with all of you and hear how the books we read have made you feel or impacted your perspective!
