Grace (gracereadssmut) Hi, I'd loved a book about reincarnated lovers, not a time travel novel. Also, I prefer NON YA.

Thanks for any help :)

☆Eiko (sillytachi) | 15 comments An adult one that came to my mind that's contemporary is Prince of Twilight by Maggie Shayne. I remember reading this a long time ago so the details are a bit muddled for me, but once you read the synopsis maybe you'll be interested in it?

Another that comes to mind that is a somewhat considered paranormal is a historical romance story called The Truelove Bride by Shana Abe, I'm not sure if it's your type of book but it has to do with reincarnation, and paranormal abilities but they do not take presedence over the main story.

Lastly I have Endless Knight by Kresley Cole. It's supposedly a YA book with heavy paranormal elements to it, mainly the arcana cards and their abilities but no part of this book reads as a YA, she just switches 'man' to 'boy' but they're definitely not that. Anyway this one may be the second installment but its were the readers find out that the h has indeed been reincarnated to play this game, and was the former.... something of one of the characters.

I don't know how well you'll like historicals but it's mostly what I used to read I hope you don't mind another few recommendations.

Prince of Dreams by Lisa Kleypas is one that I couldn't understand why I didn't mention before. It's one I definitely would say has reincarnation being the main plot. there's lots of flashbacks and it's set in the late 1800's if my mind isn't playing tricks on me.

You might be interested in a few of Kresley Cole s books she has a lot of reincarnation in her books, and her books are really most definitely NOT YA.

I'd recommend the Nightwalkers series by Jacquelyn Frank. The 1st book is Forbidden. It has a huge reincarnation plotline combined with several other paranormal and/or fantasy elements. However, I read much more pnr and sometimes have trouble identifying the difference between that and "fantasy" as a genre. But here's my brief description, which is nothing like the actual book summary, lol, so you should definitely look that up!

Forbidden (The World of Nightwalkers, #1) by Jacquelyn Frank Forbidden by Jacquelyn Frank

(One of the most unique concepts I've ever read in a paranormal series, it's about bodywalkers, which are ancient egyptian souls that are reincarnated every 100 years and can merge with a human they feel drawn to and can share the human's body. It sounds creepy but it's not at all. Technically, it is a 2-souls-in-1-body kinda thing, but it's voluntary and they can only do this with a human who's dying. It makes the human nearly immortal and the relationship is more like a symbiotic friendship with a very ancient and wise being who talks to you in your head!)

I also really like the reincarnation plotlines of these next 2 books, but they aren't fantasy romance. I figure I'll list them anyway in case you're interested. They're both really great books!

Viper (Second Wave, #1) by Mikayla Lane Viper by Mikayla Lane (science-fiction-romance)

The Reunited (The FBI Psychics, #3) by Shiloh Walker The Reunited by Shiloh Walker (psychic romantic suspense)

Thanks, I shall check these out. By the way, historical is my jam. I only go to paranormal and contemporary when I need a tiny history break haha! :)
