Reason to be a hero: Her mother was attacked when she was young, and she couldn't control her power yet, so she only turned slightly big without her strength. Akiko hit him with the strength of a four year old, so it was rendered useless as he shot her mother.

Personality: Yukirin is extremely sour upon first meetings. Usually she's quiet and minds her own business, however she can be quite mean and stand-offish when talked to. She more passive then anything though, she's just not used to socializing with others. Once you get to know her, she's of course nicer, but she's still rather quiet. Every once and a while she'll get excited about the randomness things. Mention sweets, especially icecream, or coffee and she'll be a bundle of happiness. She has a weird taste in friends. The person can be a complete sociopath and she'll try to get along with them and be best friends, even if they are bad. (Take Toga for example. That's the kind of people I'm talking about.)

Reason to be a hero: Well one reason is because her father agreed to leave her the hell alone if she went to this school and became a hero. Said it was good business for his company. While she makes it seem like the promise was the only reason she even bothered to join the U.A., its not the only reason. She genuinely wanted to become a hero like her mother, to help others in need, to not just be that person on the sidelines not doing anything when something is happening and someone needs help.

Yanagi has a very tall and "lean" build. He has green eyes and short blonde hair. He has slightly messy banes, which mainly tend to fall to the right of his face. He has very silky, soft hair and a beauty mark under his left eye. He stands around 5'6."


Personality: Yanagi, unlike his older "sister", he's really energetic and sweet. He's extremely kind, though he often gets confused by the cultural differences and the different languages. Heck, writing a paragraph in Japanese takes him an entire two hours (good god he has a translator). He's decently fluent in Japanese, however he tends to switch between French and Japanese and often takes a minute to translate in his brain, so Sorry if he accidentally says something wrong and mistranslates! He's a bit of a worry wort and cares deeply about others. He gets attached far to quickly, just like a puppy would. He's very loyal to those he cares about and likes to help others, whether they be human, hero, animal, or even a villain. "Someone in need, is a friend in deed." As he likes to quote. While he does hate his father, he still loves his father and doesn't hold as much as a grudge as his sister does, so if Juni does decide to show up, he's always willing to listen. He tries his hardest for others, does whatever they want to his best effort. Even if it means having to constantly smile through the pain, laugh when he doesn't want to, hold back his tears, he'll do it. Maybe it was because he was afraid to let others in, to let them see the real him. For them to know everything. To see that under that facade, under his many masks, he's a weak, fragile boy who can be hurt by the smallest words, the smallest movements.

Reason to be a hero: His reason is very simple. He wants to help others, to be able to protect those he cares about and then some. He wanted to be like his mother as well, be as beautiful, confident, and happy as she was. He wanted to be that person to help someone, not for the credit, the fame, or the money. He simply wanted to help. He couldn't help his biological parents when they were killed by a villain, they were both great heroes. He was too late to save them, it took for him to see their dead bodies to do something. So, becoming a hero is sort of like his way of atoning for that, even though he couldn't do anything. After all, he was 5, his quirk hardly developed. The villain only one because it was a surprise attack, heck the guy was half drunk and was just plain angry. It wasn't planned, his quirk wasn't even that strong. It just took a knife and some hatred, to kill a happy couple who were too focused on protecting their son to do anything. What's worse? He killed that man. It was out of sorrow, anger. This man, with little to no effort, killed his parents with a surprise attack! So, Yanagi returned the favor. He surprised the man. He didn't have to be extremely skilled with his quirk to just loose sight of everything to anger, it took one spike of ice. Just one, tiny little thing. So, this was his way to atone for his sins. Even if he was hurt in the process, he'll help as many people as he could.

Other: He was adopted by Yukirin's mother and father after the police and heroes were done questioning him. The family took the boy in, seeing as Yukirin's mother was the one that found him crying next to the dead bodies and she felt bad for him.

AH! Sorry for such the depressing snip of his past, I was listening to Human, which typically, whatever song I'm listening to tends to be what I base my character off of, and it just so happened I was listening to this one when I started on his personality.

☻ She can absorb anxiety and negative emotions from other people through touch and use it to create a sort of wave, kind of like her mother's sound waves but also apparently mixed with whatever her father's quirk was. These waves can do simple things, like knocking people off their feet or sending them flying. It also releases those negative emotions she absorbed, sending it to said person, who will then be overcome with said emotions. However, until she releases them, she has to feel these emotions herself, which can be rather stressful. She will often get migraines the longer she holds these emotions inside and may even erupt and accidentally send these waves out. After all, there is a limit to how much she can hold and how long she can hold them in. Not to mention, she has her own feelings to take care of. With those and the feelings of others, it takes its toll. Mentally and physically. This quirk would be a good support quirk. She can help bystanders feel better by taking their fear and anxiety away, as well as using it to fend off villains. It's more of a double-edged sword though. When she uses her quirk, her skin actually seems to glow. She can't absorb much in one day, in fact, she might end up breaking down or even passing out if she absorbs too much. She tends to set a time between each time she's allowed to use that aspect of her quirk. After all, she can't just absorb all these negative emotions back to back, that'll take a huge toll on her emotional health. Once she's used all of the negative emotions she absorbed up though, she's pretty much like an empty tank.

She usually either wears black, white or autumn colors. She seems more comfortable in casual clothes rather than informal clothing or skirts. She's the type of girl who'd likely show up to a formal prom wearing a tux rather than a dress. She wears these red and white sneakers, which she seems to rather like. They are easier to move around in than anything like heels. She can't really wear heels, seeing as she's not balanced at all and would likely fall flat on her face. She's often carrying around a handheld gaming system. Her skin glows when she uses her quirk.

She's very aware of her surroundings, especially when it comes to observing how people feel. She picks up on small social cues and is surprisingly perceptive. She's more than willing to help others by using her quirk, even if it only burdens her in the long run, she's more than willing to take their burdens as her own. Can take away pain from an individual or more, but cannot heal. She can also transfer that pain into another person, making her quirk a powerful offensive. The more pain she takes, the more pain she receives, and it can grow and build within her over time. So, she would eventually have to find some place to release it. Through years of honing and developing her quirk, Aala has grown a higher pain tolerance than most people. For example, if she received open wounds or bruises in a fight, she wouldn't know about them until she saw them for herself.

Reason To Be A Hero: Aala's reason in becoming a hero is so that she can save people who have been hurt in attacks, disasters, ect. When she was young, an earthquake with a magnitude of 9.3 struck her city, causing mass destruction and chaos. Her father was killed before he could escape their collapsing house. As she and her mother ran through the rattling streets to escape the city, Aala saw for herself the fear and terror people who experienced these kinds of incidents. During the confusion, she and her mother got separated. Her mother was killed when a skyscraper collapsed, also killing thousands of others. Ironically, both of parents were emergency responders. This would be the day that would fuel her ambition to become a medical and emergency responder hero.

When Aala was founded by heroes and she later found out that both her parents were killed during the earthquake, she was devastated. She refused to speak, barely ate or slept. For a long while, she stayed in one of the many refugee camp for others who survived the event. As Aala wandered through the camp, she saw another girl crying, just as devastated as her. Curious, she went to ask why she was crying. The girl's name was Hlengiwe, and she too lost her family during the earthquake. Not only was she crying for her the loss of her family, but because ever since she arrived in the camp, she was harassed by older children with quirks since she was deemed 'quirkless'. She revealed the scrapes and cuts she received from the children. When Aala reached out to examine them, a sudden pain entered her. The girl tried to find any cuts on her, but couldn't find any. And Hlengiwe was shocked to find that her wounds didn't hurt anymore. This was when Aala's quirk developed and when the two began a strong and unbreakable friendship.
