*yawn* i dont really care about her. have sweeney kill her...
Exactly she was one of the people who didn't really matter, well to me. I mean she was nice and all.
Esme is alright with me. She like all the other secondary character are only there to be 2 dimensional and background for Bella and Edward. She is sort of a Stepford wife though.
She's lame, boring, 2-D and sickly sweet....Okay, besides that, she seems to motherly-mormon. And she's younger than Edward technically but she's his mum, which boggles me.
Esme's sweet, but I feel she could have been a great chracter is SM had developed her more. Great things could have happened to her if she was developed, no 2D.

Hence, Esme is a trophy wife, because she does nothing except be a mother hen.
Definitely. Then she could've just written from emo-Edward's POV, or maybe depressed-but-then-not-anymore-because-he-imprinted-Jacob. Or something.
yeah.....................Here's my ice cream flavor for her:
Esme's sorry-you-had-to-put-up-with-this-crap mint chocolate chip.
Esme? Oh, I just opt to forgetting about her most of the time. She's bland and predictable enough, so you can either A) guess half of what she's going to say or B) ignore whatever comes out of her mouth without consequence.
Vedanti wrote: "Esme isn't bearable at all. She's just proof of the fact that Meyer is a horrible writer and has no sense of character development."I find her to be much more bearable than the latter of the cast, seeing that she barely even makes enough appearances to grate on my nerves.
Plus, seeing that she's as good as any side character, she doesn't get any scenes or development. Developing an already flat character would prove to be useless.
What I found kind of weird was that during baseball she just suddenly, casually, even, mentions, "Oh yeah, did you know I had a baby and I lost it? That's why I threw myself off a cliff." Um what?
