What about historical? That's so broad a category just about every genre can fit in. I prefer historical fiction and non-fiction but it includes romance, fairytales are historical because of their age and many are based on true history (King Arthur, Tristan and Isolde) and I think you can even put dystopian into the category because you are looking at "future history." A lot of steampunk is based in the past.I think it would be interesting to see where people go with it. I'm starting
today. It agreed to review it so it's motivation to start it.Historical can be interpreted as so many different things by people I'd love to see what is chosen. I even have a bunch of historical mysteries/thrillers on my kindle that I haven't read such as

I'm actually excited by this. Even true crime fits. I'd love to see what other people choose because historical is my favorite and I might just find new "historical" books in genres/directions I never considered looking at.
