This was bound to happen. I have such mixed feelings about Tom sending the letters, but Isabel’s reaction is upsetting. She’s the one who was pushing the lie. Now she wants to see herself as a victim. I wish she would at least take responsibility for her part in this.

The whole thing is such a mess and poor Lucy is the one who is being hurt the most. There are many innocent victims here, Izzy is NOT one of them. I’m angry with what she has said to atom and angry about what she has planned to say to the police. I fear she will regret it.

Izzy made me angry a great deal of the time. Playing armchair psychologist here, I wonder if mental illness played into her decision making.
