Aaron (zalejin) | 248 comments I finally resorted my bookshelf, which made me think it would be fun to see everyone's shelf. Here is mine.

I love how recognisable some spines are.

Aaron that is so organized. I love that you have Gollum lurking in the corner.

Alexis | 91 comments Well seeing as you said show your books, not shelves, here are some of my books. Mum was painting the hall where my 'extra' shelf was so she had to take them all out to move the shelf. This extra shelf is for books I'm not ready to immediately read or ones I've read and want to keep. The smaller bookshself in my room is for all unread books that are stand alones or which ever book number I'm up to in a series. I'll probably take a picture of my room shelf at some point but I'm not home for another week and it's a mess haha. There are a few more outside the picture but not too many. Mum thinks I have too many and that I hoard them. I showed her the current shelves posted and told her that was my goal.

This looks like mine except there scattered all over the house. My wife had me pack some up just last week and take to my son.

noelle (viciouscirce) I have two shelves but there are four total in our household, with my boyfriends being more organized than mine: https://imgur.com/a/uTdh2Xu

I love your son's shelf!"

Thank you! My dad built that for us :) Along with the shelves that go over the doorway and my main shelf too. My son and I read a lot on Kindle so there is even more in electronic form.

Yours is very nice too! Did you build them?

Thank you! No, they're from IKEA -- I think they're IVAR series? I like them because of the flexibility in how you can build them -- how closely you space the shelves together, e.g.

My one minor complaint is that they're open on the back & sides; if I was feeling ambitious, I'd try to figure out an efficient way to create some kind of inserts for them. But that would require a lot of inserts.

They look very nice. The spacing is what made me think it might have been built custom, it looks like it could be one large bookcase.

I've been very happy with them -- I've had almost no warping. And the way they're put together makes them relatively easy to disassemble if I need to.

Love them.

My shelves are Ikea Billy. With the extension bit on top.

Richard Knaak (richardknaak) | 20 comments At the moment, I have no shelves, just packed bins. Once the house is sold, the bookshelves will not be coming with me when I move. Needed to clear them already. Gives me an excuse to find some new ones, anyway.
