Ch 33 (74%) - NOOOOOOO! (view spoiler)[ Uh oh, I think this decision is really going to come back and bite Eli on the ass. I get that he really didn't have any good choices, but still. If his fate wasn't supposed to be this, then why can't it be changed?? What will it mean that his soul is not his anymore?? How long will it take them to figure out it was the blond chick at the bar that marked him?? And why? Just because he rejected her? (hide spoiler)]

I'm a little sad that Eli is a Kere now and that his future with Cacy is changed; in those flashes it sounded like they were going to have an epic love and at least one kid. Finished - (view spoiler)[ Aw, I ended up liking Galena and Declan's story better than Cacy and Eli's, which surprises me. Ok, so at this point, we have to wonder how many siblings Moros has out there right? And I doubt they mentioned Declan's uncle that is missing in the veil for nothing. Thank goodness there is only one more book; I'm ready for some resolution. Do you think Moros and Aislin will get together? There was some interesting chemistry between them there at the end. Ch 8 (27%) - (view spoiler)[ Ugh, Aislin and Jason need to get out of their own ways.....although I do get irritated when authors have people falling into bed with one another when they need to be battling evil, etc.

I'm still a little confused why Jason's sisters want Chaos to rise.
Surely, they wouldn't be treated well under his rule either.

Ch 17 (52%) - (view spoiler)[ Aislin is a sly one, isn't she. The Board seems like a bunch of fickle Ferrys though. I am a little surprised that there is a board at all. And is bringing back a bunch of weapons that can kill everyone really the right answer? (hide spoiler)]
Ch 25 (75%) - (view spoiler)[ Finally, he is going to look at his other siblings! Too many things went wrong in that cave for one of them not to be involved - the souls went wonky from the trunk, Aislin's thread disappeared, etc. (hide spoiler)]
Finished - (view spoiler)[ I feel sorry for Aislin; I know she is a workaholic and extremely capable, but she's taking on the responsibilities of 3 people and expects to have time for Jason too? I guess it will allow them to be together for eternity instead of just one semi-extended human life. The characters of the Keepers were a little weird, weren't they? I thought they might weigh Jason's soul and find out that he wasn't destined for Hell afterall, then the Keeper of Hell would be more inclined to let him return without Aislin's sacrifice. But that's not how it happened.

All in all, this was a decent series. It's funny, I don't think it is even close to as good as the Reliquary series, and that's the one that Sarah Fine abandoned halfway through. I was so upset that she left it incomplete, I swore off her books for a while. I'm not sure this series has convinced me to try her others. It is convenient that they are available on KU and have audios - I think that is driving my decision more than anything else. (hide spoiler)]
