Christi Harris "I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review. Thanks to Smiley36.com"! There are many undocumented cases of child neglect and domestic violence that goes unreported every year and it's sad to see the ones that are being reported. I think most children are raised in families that are emotional and mentally abused and to me that's the worse type of abuse a person can be put through

Robyn Moore I received a free excerpt of Invincible from Smiley 360. I was not abused as a child, but I did have to watch my mother be beaten by my father on a consistent basis. It was extremely traumatic for me, and I felt so alone. I also had a friend who suffered abuse. This book really resonated with me, but would be a good read for anyone. I hope that everyone gives this book a look over because it might help them identify the signs of abuse. Then they might be able to stand in and help a child in need. No one should ever have to be abused.

Trish Cole I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review. I was never a victim of domestic violence as a child but I know someone very very close to me who was. I've heard childhood stories and it broke my heart to think that any parent, whether it's a biological parent, step, care giver, etc could do such violence to an innocent child. This book was a very powerful read thus far about what it's like for a child to be put through such horrible violence and abuse and just what can happen to them down the road in life! Luckily the person I know overcame their abuse and is a very strong and wonderful person today!

Sylvia Quiroga I received a free excerpt of Invincible from Smiley360.com for the purpose of this review. The opinions expressed are 100% mine. When I read this book the first thing that came to my mind was courage. I feel that anyone that is involved with or has seen domestic violence is a very courageous person, especially if you are a child. I have never fell victim to domestic violence, but I am truly humbled by the information that was presented in this book excerpt and I intend to purchase the book to read the entire story from cover to cover.

Hh I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review. I thought this was very inspiring. I would very much like to read the rest.

Turtle Anne Smiley360 asked me to sample a portion of this book. This review and opinions are completely my own. After reading the first few pages of this book I was hooked. I was not a child raised with domestic violence, but I know all too well the effects that it can have on a child. My husband though was and far too many children see domestic violence each and everyday. These kids suffer in silence. Brian Martin does a great job of explaining and hopefully helping.

Sandy I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review. The opinions are 100% mine.
Ive never personally dealt with domestic violence but do know of others that have. Theres so much that this book has explained that taught me how common it is and how it touches all ages. They call it the silent demon, as many times it is kept a secret. I recommend that everyone reads this book and if you know anyone in this situation to speak to them about it and possibly have them read this book. It will truly open their eyes.

Rebecca Highley may I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review. This opinion is completely my own.

I was given a few pages of this book from Smiley360. I cannot wait to get my hands on this book. I know many people who have lived in a household full of domestic violence. Not only physical violence but verbal violence. A friend of mine was abused as a child in school and kept wondering why she never told anyone until she was a teenager. After reading a few pages I can see why some do not say anything. I am lucky to have lived a life without violence. I recommended this book to her and she cannot wait to read it! I want to read it, too so I can further understand this subject.Brian F. Martin

Melissa Miller "I received a free excerpt of Invincible for the purpose of my review."

As a child growing up in a home of domestic violence and then being in a relationship when I got older, this book really touched home for me. I have a little girl who had to witness the effects of domestic violence and I had to find the courage and power to get out of that for not only me but her as well. In just the first chapter it really gave me a deeper in site on the subject and how others feel or are feeling like I have for so many years. I would say this is a great book to use as a guide and reference. I was given the opportunity to review invincible from smiley360 and really am looking forward to purchasing the book myself to continue reading and be able to help not only me but my daughter as well learn and know the steps or ways to be able to help get past things. I want her to grow up strong and know what is right and wrong. It would be great to also have a book geared towards children in helping them cope and deal with all the emotions as well too. Thank you very much for putting this information and personal experience out there for others to relate to. I know it is a very hard subject for most that have had to deal with it growing up or even still living in. I hope in the stories being told and how people were able to conquer and move on will motivate those facing these trials and tribulations and become stronger and determined to do and be better for not only themselves but for their families and loved ones as well.
