I created a poll. Threw in two books I recently added to my Want To Read list just to get things going!
Added one to my to-read list, anyway! I don't have a spectacular amount of fiction on my reading-list, but if you ever want something added to the poll I can throw something up!
Add something to this month's poll! We'd love to have your picks in there!
Jocelyn and I don't make book ultimatums, we're more of the type that says "well, I was considering one of these books, which one sounds better to you?"

Yeah we love new blood thrown in the mix!! My favorite thing about book clubs is that they can introduce you to books you'd never pick up on your own.
Looks like we're reading The Immortal Circus next month (2 out of 3 votes)The Immortal Circus: Act One
Anyone have any objections to everyone adding one book to the monthly poll? I populated this month's poll, but the more I think about it, I think this would be the fairest way to make sure everyone has a voice in the selection process.
Since there's so few of us voting at the moment, do you want to start doing that for December's poll? It will give us time to find a book we want to suggest and keep the choices simple enough that we don't get stalemates (plus I already voted on one of the three choices).

Ha, thanks. Though I don't think I could take much credit for the idea. Mainly I didn't want to feel like I was pushing the books I wanted to read on everyone else. :\
Just one example of how moving the BC to forums has resulted in a few "growing pains".

Hi Witchypoo! Welcome to the group. Sorry, I was AFK recently and this is the first I've been able to log in to the group. Looks like there is no longer a tie. We'll be reading the Wool Omni in Feb.

Ok, I'm finally getting back into the group now that my life is a bit more my own. Are we still writing in options? Like should someone write an option in for March?
