As we start reading Far From The Tree, feel free to share your first impressions here.

Ella | 67 comments It’s really easy reading, I would definitely say young adult from the first few chapters. I feel like I could fly through this book pretty quickly.

AM (ammo) | 5 comments This is my first book with you for a while. I have to agree with Ella, It does seem easy reading. I like the book so far however I am not attached to anyone yet. Maybe it is how it is written but we will see going forward.

AM (ammo) | 5 comments However. I should add. I am interested to read more about Joaquin's journey.

Kandice | 944 comments I ended up really liking all three of the siblings. They were so different.

Also, I won't spoil anything by saying why, but the idea of "Peach" and continuing to refer to... that, was heartbreaking to me.

Stephanie Dique | 49 comments I'm just a few chapters in, and I really like it so far.

I hope it is still going well for you!

Richard (rsquaredreads) | 178 comments All I have to say is wow. Yes, it is an easy read and is obviously written for a YA audience. However, it feels like it actually has real emotional depth beyond that of a YA novel. Also, I don’t normally like stories told with multiple narrators, but I don’t think this story works any other way.
