Would you like a book recommendation or two? Just write what kind of thing you’re looking for, or a book you have read recently which you’ve particularly enjoyed, in this thread, and anyone in the group can suggest some titles which they feel will fit.

I finished Yaa Gyasi's "Homegoing" earlier this week and am still in awe. If you need to check Ghana off your world list, this would be an excellent choice.

I have that on my Kindle, and have been meaning to get to it for ages. Thanks for the reminder!

It is an amazing book. It may take a bit to get used to the rhythm of her narrative style, but once you do, you can't put it down.

Hala Alyan's -Salt Houses- is a very good read. I cannot believe it has not gotten more notice, dealing, as it does, with the ideals of a cohesive family and generational displacement. It touches the heart.
