This book is fairly short (you know, for people to read in a hurry). If you finish quickly and want more in depth explanations Tyson's book Welcome to the Universe covers much of the same material with more exposition.
I bought the Kindle version, took a quick look at it and realized that it starts off just like his Origins: Fourteen Billion Years of Cosmic Evolution which I read awhile back. This may be a condensed version and great for those who haven't already read Origins. I returned this latest work. Perhaps I will re-read Origins and monitor the comments to see how it relates.
I read this last years and loved it! I'm a fan of NDT, I've seen him live twice and enjoy his podcast. This short book is packed with cosmological goodness and is an excellent example of the wit, wisdom, and knowledge of NDT. He is an excellent communicator and has a knack for explaining the complex concepts of astrophysics so that even those of us without science degrees can appreciate and understand them. It's a quick read. Has anyone read any of his other books?
I read this last year and really enjoyed how he can make some of the more complex topics more accessible. I was very excited to reread this book with the group, but it seems to have sprouted little legs and wandered off. As soon as I find out who has it, I will join the discussion.

Just really fun to read as well as informative. https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1...
