Goodreads Summer Reading Challenge discussion

Would you like to do some buddy reads?
How would you like to organize them, and how much time per book?
Any other suggestions for this?

Oh good idea! I notice some of us are planning to read the same books.

Organizing idea: once there are 2+ people saying they want to read a particular book, open the thread immediately since the challenge doesn't run that long. Encourage people to use the (view spoiler)[spoiler (hide spoiler)] tag.

I hope this happens. I love reading but I also love discussing reading just as much!

Buddy reads would be amazing. I've noticed that a lot of people are reading Where'd you go Bernadette? because of the continental prompt, so that could be an idea for a big buddy read. I would either suggest having an average of 1 month for a book or 1-2 week for one with a length like Where'd you go Bernadette? The idea of opening up a thread for every buddy read is really good and also the only way I could think of organizing them other than creating a seperate group like a bookclub-kinda-thing, but that could get quite confusing and could be a lot of work.
