Annette Mckitrick | 29 comments This picture book is about a bad seed with a bad attitude in every part of his life. He talks back, never listens, talks over everyone, finishes everyone’s sentences, never washes his hands, he’s always late, tells lies has appalling manners, and just doesn’t seem to care…… until one day he thought to himself I wonder what it would be like to be good. He wasn’t always bad and he was once happy. The bad seed decided to make some positive changes. Just taking one day at a time he slowly changed for good first learning to say please and thank you and he noticed that happy feeling returned. Maybe he’s not a bad seed after all and making positive changes are possible, but you first must decide to do it. A great read-a-loud for teachers dealing with behaviour expectations.

Natasha | 1 comments A great book loved by our students and I am now reading them the sequel from Jory John called "The Good Egg". It is about an egg who tries to be the very best all of the time but in the end finds it all a bit exhausting. A great message about not having to be perfect all the time and that achieving is also about balance with other things.
