What are you reading?
I'm currently reading
Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco. I love the writing and the characters. The book is intriguing and hard to put down.

Oooh is that from the Hunting Jack the ripper series? Looks like it from the cover. I've never read the series but one of my besties says she loves it.
Sadly, I'm not reading any books right now! I'm waiting for 1st June so I can start reading
That's how ready I am for it😂

OMG YES I JUST FINISHED READING STALKING JACK THE RIPPER! It’s so good!! I have so many feelings about it! Feel free to talk about it in the DMs (or we can always use the spoiler tag in the general chit chat room).I’m currently reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before by Jenny Han (super cute I love it) and The Wicker King by K. Ancrum (it’s really intense).
Ilsen is the Wicker King good? I have it downloaded and wanted to start it in I think 2018. Never got round to it but the book is still on my virtual bookshelf mocking me
I think it’s good. It explores a lot of different topics. I’m just still wondering what’s happening but I think you should try it
I'm reading book three in the Keepers of the Lost Cities series, its middle grade fantasy about elves and its absolutely amazing.
I’m really surprised Keeper of the Lost Cities isn’t already on my tbr considering the name seemed familiar to me but I’m adding it right now it looks so fun and interesting!
My cousin is trying to get me to read it, but I've been told it's like a lamer version of Harry Potter. Nothing, absolutely nothing could replace Harry Potter for me. But who knows? Maybe I'll try it and I'll enjoy it. Nine books is a bit extreme though since one's coming out in November and then another one in the new year. I think.I just finished All the Bright Places. That was such a sad ending. I finished it in class and almost started crying. Now I'm reading This Savage Song But I'm only on the second chapter.
All the Bright Places is one of my favorite books!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!!I also really enjoyed This Savage Song! It’s really good.
@Zaiyah woah Keeper of the Lost Cities is a 9 book series!! So long!
Also I read All The Bright Places a couple of years ago. A weird book but v sad yeah. A good YA contemporary. You should read We Were Liars that was a good YA contemporary and it’s technically a mystery too.

I also read We Were Liars. I liked it but my friend hated it so I want to reread it and see if my opinions changed.
I read it years ago and I remember I loved (view spoiler) and just recently I started thinking about that again and I just want to reread that specific part again. Otherwise I thought the book was nothing different than any other contemporary YA.
Hahahha that sounds like me when you have all these super hyped up YA books like the Grishaverse books and every SJM book and Cassandra Clare book ever. When books are over hyped then you have high expectations that the books usually never meet.
That’s another reason why I love MG books because you can find a lot of hidden gems or not extremely popular books that are really good like The Eighth Day by Dianne K. Salerni or the Oliver Nocturne series and I could go on listing awesome MG series.
Ok I’ll just set up the book recommendation pages already so I can recommend you all my fave MG books!

I’m currently reading Wanderlost and Gabi, A Girl in Pieces. I’m also still reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before!
I’m currently reading The Sun is also a Star by Nicola Yoon ( after just finishing her other book, Everything Everything )!

Zaiyah wrote: "I'm reading Aru Shah and the End of Time. Who else?"
Me too! It’s such a slow read. I don’t want to dnf but I might end up doing that because I’m just not into it and it’s creating a reading slump.

I love chosen one vibes! And prophecies and all that. I actually created a shelf specifically for books like that: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...

Yeah! I just finished it but it took me a really long time. about three or four days. (That's long for me).
Ilsen wrote: "I’m currently reading Wanderlost and Gabi, A Girl in Pieces. I’m also still reading To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before!"I'm thinking about reading Gabi, A Girl in Pieces for this group's pride themed readathon. Do you recommend it?
I’m still in the beginning of it so right now I’m ok with it. I still haven’t really connected with the characters
I'm in a huge reading slump! I finished What If It's Us on Wednesday, and can't finish anything. I've tried with two books, but I kind of hated their characters. I'm about to start a new book, but I don't know if I'll be able to finish it.
I still haven’t read What If It’s Us! (I need to get to that) Right now I finished Wanderlost and I’m still reading Gabi, A Girl In Pieces and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
I’ve wanted to read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before ever since I watched the movie. Has it been good so far?
I have been in a major book slump recently because I've been trying to force myself to read Aru Shah and the End of Time even though it wasn't clicking with me.
But, finally I've managed to give it up and I'm super excited to start reading The Glitch in Sleep which looks really interesting. Also, it's part of a trilogy. This could be my next trilogy to love after The Eighth Day and The Accidental Hero. I really hope it's as good as it looks!

I’m still reading Gabi, A Girl In Pieces and To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before along with The Cruel Prince and Final Draft!
Goblet of Fire is one of the three HP books I own! My copy is pretty well-thumbed. I loved so many things in that book. The Quidditch World Cup was so cool and the whole Triwizard Tournament was basically a treasure hunt with the most awesome and intricate clues.
I'm reading Ruin and Rising, which I need to finish tonight because I want to read it before King of Scars which I need to return to the library in two days! Quite awful for me.
Omg I hope you enjoy the Grisha trilogy! I personally love that trilogy! I also want to reread the trilogy before King of Scars!
Zaiyah wrote: "I'm reading Ruin and Rising, which I need to finish tonight because I want to read it before King of Scars which I need to return to the library in two days! Quite awful for me."OH YES. have you read six of crows too??? because that's kind of needed before king of scars lol.
I’ve read Six of Crows this year and it was amazing! I’m only missing Language of Thorns and King of Scars to complete the Grishaverse universe!
I finished The Cruel Prince but I’m still reading Final Draft, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and Gabi, A Girl In Pieces
Zaiyah wrote: "OF COURSE!! I LOVE Jesper and Wylan! Favourite characters!"I love the whole Dregs gang! I can’t pick between my babies!
Zaiyah wrote: "OF COURSE!! I LOVE Jesper and Wylan! Favourite characters!"They deserve the entire universe I love them.

Kadi wrote: "ARE WE TALKING ABOUT GRISHA? Ok, I’m running away from here!😂😂"Oh no! What’s wrong with the Grishaverse? I’m a big fan of Leigh Bardugo so sorry I’m fangirling..
😂it’s ok Ilsen. I love fangirling! But I actively avoid anything about Grisha. Maybe I’ll watch the show but I’m not reading the books😂
