So you're going on vacation... what book are you taking with you? What book just screams "summer vacation read?"

Tell us your vacation book choice!

I'm still debating on mine. I think I might do Carols and Chaos by Cindy Anstey. Regency romance? Perfect for a vacation. And it's set during Christmas so I can dream about snow while I melt in the heat.

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I'm thinking of getting my own copy of the Mueller Report and reading it on my vacation. B&N has it in ebook for free, but it's not easy to read it on my Nook. I might also sample the writings of more of the Presidential candidates (so far I've read Buttigieg's and Harris's books). Or poetry, maybe Whitman or Dickinson (I took a class in grad school on just the two of them).
Or maybe just binge on cozy mysteries. :)

Zachary | 47 comments I'm finally going to go through the Cormac McCarthy Border Trilogy, starting with All the Pretty Horses. Perhaps not exactly a beach read, but it is for me.

I am taking the Darkest Minds with me to the pool - I bought it so I don't have to worry about paying for a library book. My last one got damaged and I was sad I have to pay for it.

Jillian | 1 comments I’ll be engrossed in the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkness. Already on Book 2 and I love it!
